Ryoma can actually die after the Oni Inn Incident if you never did all his bond missions. Also I hope you did all of Ine and Fukuzawa’s missions, they’ll be important for later.

I'm guessing you're playing on Midnight mode based on how hard the enemies are. Midnight is very unforgiving unless you reach character level 90-100 and have most or all of the Breakthrough buff skills fully filled. I'm trying desperately to get there bit by bit. Level 78 right now but with only 3 Breakthrough skills fully filled with the rest partly.

yea i haven’t finished my first playthrough. uhhh i think 50 or 55 idk if thats low or not. I usually do everything i can in whatever area im in
@@horizonXII Cool. I took my time as well in every area of every chapter. I went to 100% every area in each region including sidequests, public orders, fugitives and hidden secret enemies too. I really enjoyed doing that.
I was looking forward to completing and going on to Midnight difficulty for the new Masterwork weapons gear etc. I got a culture shock went I went Midnight though. it was extremely difficult with the enemies and public areas ramped up. It may be easier for you though since you're currently playing on Twilight. I played right through the first playthrough on the easiest difficulty. When I went Midnight at level 62 I couldn't even beat the lowest level 53 public areas in Yokahama. So prepare to have a challenge. But it great to be getting Masterwork rewards.
