If you are in Alaska anything you do is like an epic adventure! I'm glad there are channels like yours on CZcams!
"Cooking with Timmy". AWESSOME. you should do a series... i would watch it. :)
Chaos House!
Glad you’re having fun and glad we’re able to go along!
Be well, stay safe and take good care, from here in the much more habitated Allegheny National Forest in Northwestern Pennsylvania.
Timmy might be the only 'vehicle living and travel' channel owner who does more outdoor winter stuff in the snow than Foresty Forrest. Which is saying something.
Also, in regards to the stairs; DOH! I spose it just gives you reason to build another set anyway, and since you seem to enjoy building and engineering, and you needed another set for a flatbed configuration anyway, you can do all of the above.
I haven't checked out much of Foresty Forest, but seems like a pretty chill dude:). Already fixed the stairs, truck is in the garage, putting the flatbed on now, should have some install videos soon:)
Ha Ha Ha ....how to make a salad. LOL
You are so freaking good with your videos
I am now watching all your adventures and you are now my very Favourite videographer
Sheila Vancouver BC
Outstanding tutorial on how to make a salad while camping. Heck, you could use that approach at home as well. I hate doing dishes. Stay cool Timmy.
Always a good time watching your adventures Timmy. And the cooking tips man so good. 😂
Timmy, oh gee you did not wash the salad. Ouch! Best Way To Get Ill Out & About. All the rest is great choices of tasty delight. Stay Safe, always, Tommy :-)
I'm trying to catch up on your shows I do like them and the wilderness so I'll do my best. Good content Timmy.😀
You are living the life Timmy, love your adventures, another great video!
This Channel is absolutely one of the best of it’s kind😊🥰 I am hooked! Alaska is a lot like Norway, where I live. This is my dream to. I sold my camping wagon last year! I dream of driving around as you are too! But my health isn’t so good right now! But some day….😊😊😊 Keep up the great work,Timmy 😊 Respect 😊
I love watching your adventures. Wish we had more snow here, its so beautiful.
Awesome cooking video!😂, great work as usual!👍Ya know I got an idea, here it is..I have been working on my fire starting skills and what I plan to do is throw out the ferro rod wood stove challenge! Everyone with a woodstove on their channel has to start their woodstove with a ferro rod in one of their videos, I think it will be interesting! Looks like the Polaris is running great again!👍👍🤠🇺🇸🔥🔥
Haha thanks man! Interesting idea. This was an old video, polaris is getting a new engine as we speak;)
Good job dude always enjoy your videos things happen it's cool you don't get upset and it's always better to air on the side of caution especially when you're out in the middle of nowhere by yourself keep up the good work
Miss-adventures still keeping me watching! Glad you decided not to try proceeding ahead or you may have had another Miss-happening.
100 percent the name change should have been "timmy in the camper" 😂 good video man!
HA-HA! Hey, remember ... we seem you drive off the road at times. You can fix those stairs in not time, you're tough. You did good today.
Yup, I gotta keep er between the lines... droning and driving ain't easy lol
You're the most beloved son in the family.
Enjoyed again, glad I saw this video, because I eat my salad the same way you do, out of bag get strange looks😊
Beautiful drone footage!! That water color was amazing! And I really like your choice of music😊👍🔥❤️👉SEND IT!!!
Always enjoy your videos....glad you dug up this footage even if it's out of sequence....im guessing this was from before you went to the lodge their bud. Enjoy the comedy with the cooking tips 😄
If you try this trip again, I'd go with you. My cabin is in Petersville. I'm always up for an adventure.
Right on man, I'll definitely attempt it at some point, maybe not this season.
By far the funniest one yet.
I enjoy your adventures, I notice you have a new spare for the trailer and the snowmobile is fixed, right on bro!!
Thanks man! It's my buddies trailer so I never have to borrow it again lol, snowmachine is still in the shop getting a new engine, this video was from the time I went out to the Into the Wild bus site.
Most epic of 🥗 (salad) how-to vids. Munching it like a rabbit at the end? Pro level for sho. Stay frosty brother. Cheers from the potato state.
Better the stairs than the dog like in Vacation :)
Lol yup! I actually took off driving around the parking lot to repark my Toyota camper with my exgirlfriends husky tied to the rear bumper one time lol, good thing I only drove 100 yards. Passed a bunch of people walking and they never said anything.
@@TruckHouseLife hahahahaha! They probably thought you were training a sled dog or something!
The rebuild needs a stairs 'stupid' sensor with an indicator in the cab.
let me know where i can get one of those sensors...i did the same thing last year !!!
@@TruckHouseLife Put a pulley weight system on your stairs, never worry again
Man, that would’ve sucked if your snow mobile would’ve broken down out there!! Love your videos, stay safe!!
Just found you last night. I have about 3 hours into watching your videos so far lol. Love them man. I was gonna say this has to before she locked up but you answered that. Also awesome how you reply man. Love the videos and man I love that 7.3 beautiful truck.
I think the salad was very therapeutic for the stair situation, sorry. You have a decent temper but sometimes you just have to get it out. You couldn't go chop wood, or hit a bag, so the salad was great instruction and also a way to vent in a positive manner without bitching nonstop. It's a struggle. I'm excited to see the flatbed build, my deck is pretty high and i'm worried about being able to stand up but not get too close to height restrictions plus I'd love to sleep over the cab, or at least have it for storage, if I go the hammock route but thats pushing 11 or 12'. 8x8 is going to blow your mind and feel like a serious upgrade, esp if you go over the cab for snoozeville. I want that, and I'm dead set on a wetbath, I hope I can pull it off. The Kimberly is beautiful dude. Much respect to the safety and logic emphasis even when it's an adventure that means so much to you.
lol yup, it totally was. Yeah I'm stoked on the flatbed, I'll have it on this month! The camper is exactly 11 ft 3 inches to the top of the chimney (before the flatbed), probably will be 11 ft 8 inches or so w/ the flatbed. Sounds like you've got a cool setup too.
Well , my son pointed out you and I make salad the same and
we’ve both backed up into an avoidable disaster. Little brat! Lol 😂 So we have two things in common. 😂
I back into an unmarked construction hole because I didn’t circle ⭕️ my car 🚗 to safety check like my grandpa taught me too always do.
Ugh 😩
Avoidable! 😆 😂
2 lives actually. Be sure you're part of the 2nd one--the good one.!
@@TruckHouseLife You're right--especially the way you live it. I SO enjoy your videos!!
You fooled me with the music - it is the same as My Self Reliance up in the wilderness in Ontario, Canada.
😂😂😂winter chef salad 😂😂😂
Search online for "waterproof wobble stick limit switch" and "Cole Hersee Buzzer/Indicator model #4112-RC000. Depending on how good you are with wiring it might be possible to tie it into the neutral safety switch circuit so the buzzer only sounds with the engine running, in forward / reverse and with the stairs down. Also you will need SOOW type cable and a proper gland to keep the water out of the switch. I have a quick question for you what's the song playing at 16:30?
Right on I'll check that out:). The song is "Psycho Groupy" by our band The Shoot Dangs:) an original
❤️❤️❤️
Next time yor milk gets that way or looks like that try shaking it up real good to get it all mixed back up. If its been frozen and thawed it all needs to just be shook really good.
Did you get the sled repaired or is this video before that happened ?
This video is from a while back, the same week as the Into the Wild bus-site adventure, just finished making it though.
You taste it 🤔Looks ok to me
Every time I go in the swamp Bigfoot comes over and checks me out . It’s his neighborhood Michigan
Do you have anything like an Esbar heater? Good way to ensure the 7.3 will start when you return, and instant heat a low cost.
@@TruckHouseLife Good deal, if things drop to -40 that 7.3 can be a little fussy. I'm not an expert but they have a couple different types, one for engine coolant, and one for Cab or the Homestead.
Bro i work 3rd shift and i binge watch your videos. if youve noticed a bunch of videos likes recently im just trying to make sure you get paid man.
You already got your snow machine fixed!?
Nope, this video was from a few weeks back, same time I did the Into the Wild bus site video... sled is in the shop getting the new engine now:)
Tim Mark my words i will make it to the west side of our land too alaska one day!!! Haha!!!
Im thinking a flag indicator when stairs are down,,to see in the side view. Jus an idea....poop!
Good thing your sled didn’t seize up when you were out alone! That would not be good. Do you carry skis to walk out if you needed too??
👍👍
Those stairs brought up some bad memories of me doing the exact thing towing my snowmobile(that's the proper way to say it, btw hahahaha) trailer. Bent the crap out of em. Even more unfortunate was they're made of aluminum and northern lite wanted $500(!?!) for a new set.
Managed to get them fixed at a fab shop for about 250...still expensive but not as bad as buying a new set.
Anyways, loving the videos buddy. Hope all is well up there! Check out my (embarrassing plug) channel I finally started up if you find yourself bored and want to check out fulltiming down here in MT.
Cheers!
Good ol MP 131, shouldve tried 127, little more direct approach to the foothils you were after
I like 127 the best. Good rip to the Dutch hills and you’re not getting banged around on the road.
@@TruckHouseLife you got me wanting to shovel off my toy hauler and do some winter camping. Thanks Timmy! Will save me $300 not staying at Gate Creek Cabins.
I hear this music from shawn.
I think you may have slept in due to the party you were at with yourself lol
Was this before or after your engine fail on the snow machine?
Before, this video was filmed the same time as the Into the Wild bus site video.
Quick question: did you make a mistake putting full send Alaskan overland in the video intro?
Nope, I just say Truck House Life every video, and it rolls off the tongue better as a brand name;)
THL 😁
I'd pick up maps.me or osmand for offline maps for your phone if you don't have it already. That will give you a GPS location without needing any cell signal, and you'll be able to see where you are on a map. Just need line of sight to the sky.
Did I miss what the sled outcome was?
@@TruckHouseLife I didn’t know if it was actually blown up or not. If it was you got that rebuild done pretty quick. I live in upstate NY and our turn around time on sleds is not very good. Great job bro keep living your dream.
@@backpackertoo It's still the shop, the engine takes about 4 weeks for polaris to ship.
.........hellooo........ Is this the start of that day in hell?.....Is it safe to talk........? I'm still hiding under my blanket.......You hid that temper well though...........
Did you change your channels name?
Yup, I was saying truck house life every video and it just rolls off the tongue better;)
You've been having a run of bad luck lately, are you okay? Need anything from us?
Now about that hat?!?
Email me at truckhouselife@gmail.com... just got 9 hats in yesterday with the new Truck House Life logo I made, the are the comfortable old style so not going to last long and won't be able to get the same style cozy hat like that again as they are discontinued.
How many premieres do you need at once just put out the videos
Premieres allow me to live chat with you guys when the video releases... if you just put the video out there is no live chat.
@@TruckHouseLife ok I just get disappointed when I see a good video on my subs and it's a premier I like instant gratification
@@dreadedappliancerepair3826 lol I hear ya, I hated premieres to until I realized I got to live chat with the creator, then it became awesome.
Dude really? Totally discussing! Weren't you raised right? Do you not have civilized parents? Do not let hubris find you.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hey Timmy,,,,,, if you were to put a Small-Micro Snap-Switch with a small flexible spring like Lever, at your Hinge folding point,,,,,,, Wire the DC Electrical wiring thru the Snap-Switch, and an Ignition Controlled Relay that would initiate a small Horn/Buzzer, so when you Start-up the Truck, if the Stairs-Hinge has not been folded-up,,,,,, you will have a Audible Sound to remind you, what you forgot to do,,,,,, put the Stairs up Chit-Head...... :-)
Brad in Alaska..... Valley-Trash.....
Holy brilliant idea man! I'll throw it on the list lol.
