for such an aspie you do some mad shit top notch sir.
The lift at 15.05 isn't generic!
It's a well constructed Haushahn lift..
You say Germany is strict about lift surfing but when I was a kid living in Bonn, we used to clown around on escalators and whizz down the sloped escalators to the subway platforms at Bonn HBF in the wrong direction on fold-up scooters. The one time I did anything like that on Londons tube, some cctv controller turned off the escalator and made an announcement over the PA.
The UK seems to be one of the strictest countries on the planet when it comes to railways. I find Germany to be one of the strictest societies on the planet in pretty much all aspects apart from the railways. I have seen people crossing the tracks in Germany and some railways not having much of a fence. This would never happen in the UK.
Ben, you have amazing stealth skills, surfing the lifts in these risky places without people noticing....
dykodesigns2yt yes!
the lift on the main train station was an otis gen2 in generic Style
Wow Ben I'm shocked not only that you took a young person lift surfing but you took him lift surfing in a different country
And you did it in Germany
Maybe 1 reason Stansted's the way it is's because it's relatively new compared to other London airports(1991). The only 1 newer's Southend(2012), maybe RyanAir should move there to have the airport gain passengers. Maybe adding London City airport for non-bankers to use it(1987). There's no train there, & it's accessible by the DLR. Know which carriage to get on@the other stations, as there are 2 entrances, 1 @ each end. It's also the only station to have a ticket office.
personally i find stansted a nice airport . The transit was built by network southeast i think as there are green handrails inside the transit as network southeast had a special livery for the stansted express which had green. It has a lot of its original signs as well which have the british rail font and its the last airport i have been to that still looks like this.
when have you been there? Maybe we almost met up since I actually arrived by plane on 5. and returned back on sunday the 6. of Nov (Germanwings flights). By the way, there are some 1970s Schindlers in Terminal 1. however, these have recently been modernized again. But as far as I remember, they still have their original Schindler intelligent leveling (wonder if this is from the 70's too since these lifts have been modded in the 90s with S-Series fixtures).
04:18 - this old Schindler lift has been modernized twice. They replaced the original Schindler buttons with Kronenberg buttons in the 1980 and added the folding inner door back then.
06:49 - wow you have been to St Agatha hospital. Nice place! I've actually done a lift tour at this place (search for "Agatha" on my channel to find it) and even managed to get into that locked off 1970's Flohr-OTIS lift (it can be seen in the basement). There is also an innerdoorless lift which I have a doorkey for, but this one has been abandoned :-(
11:13 - amazing you've been to the catacombs at Cologne Central. I've never been there, its not that sort of place you wanna get caught...
He was in Cologne on 10th of November.
Btw, where the fuck is the lifr at 11:13 and wasn´t it locked?! i really want to go down there but never saw that lift before.
it is behind a locked door
cool video ben my best friend
I love lift and escalates
how does that train reverse at each end of the line? floor 5 looks like office space.
Luton is even worse. It's filthy over there. Stansted is cleaner, but still quite bad.
9:35 gen 2's at my local tesco make the same weird friction sound
The raddison blu hotel here, is a joke, there are flys coming to foods near you there, expensive prices, and so much more.
4:18 i already take a ride on this lift too ;-)
How many keys do you even keep with you to do all this lift surfing?

5:22 | Why is it all grainy?
It is dark
cheap because you fly ryanair
I have been to standsted and it is the worst airport I have ever seen, why did you not just go to a different airport???
Yeah let´s just go to another Airport even if RyanAir planes to Cologne only departes at Stanstead...
3:43 Not a good Idea.
Why not
