Hi Angelo. I had both eyes done for cataracts in late November, then 6 days later, in early December of 2022.
My left eye was completely covered and the right one wasn't much better!! How i continued to drive for 11 months when everything was blurry is beyond me! Lol.
First surgery went great. The second one i was fully aware during the procedure and remember seeing the scalpel coming towards my eye and the cracking sound. That was weird AF!! Unfortunately they did nick my right eyeball which hurt for a few days.
I ended up travelling further to Brisbane 2.5 hours to get them done because the specialist closer to me was going to charge nearly 10k to do both.
I got both done for just under 4500k! Huge difference! You will love the difference in how brought colours become again.

Happy Birthday. Good luck with your eye surgery. I had cataract surgery last year and it’s wonderful not the have to wear glasses except reading glasses when I need to see close up.

I had cataract surgery 8 years ago , after a lifetime of wearing glasses.. I know exactly how you will feel.. free...I was very grateful to have my glasses to be able to see, but it's wonderful to not have to wear them all the time now.. I only wear a slight prescription for driving.. (distance). It's really amazing what doctors can do these days. Enjoy your glasses free freedom..

Happy Birthday!! I really like hockey. A few years ago a friend had ice edge seats and I was able to go to a few games with her. What a treat!! Hope your eye surgery went well. Looking forward to hearing about it. I'm looking at cataract surgery in the next few years. ALSO, get a dash camera. I know you film a lot, but you need a dedicated camera (front and back view) to stay safe.
