If you file or grind the head off the rivet on one side that holds the baskets plastic hoop you can remove the rivet allowing you to remove the basket and then drill the hole in the plastic hoop and the metal bracket out to 6mm and replace the rivet with a M6x25mm bolt and a nyloc nut. Assemble with the washers between the moving parts and tighten enough so its not wobbly but so the parts can still rotate freely.

Just found your video because I am trying to take off the basket but glad to see I’m not the only one with that same issue. It’s definitely frustrating that it can’t come off. I guess I will put it back

Hi- did you machine wash everything removable including the canopy materials? Any guide on what settings to use/ what to wash it with for a good clean? 😊
I threw it all in the machine and used some normal detergent, If you are worried it won’t clean then soak it all in the bath tub first :)

Hey I was wondering what year did you buy your a stroller and bassinet? I got my bassinet on Facebook market however I’m trying to see if it will be compatible with this years Nuna Mixx Next 2022 or 2023
I bought mine from marketplace but a friend of mine has the nuna mix and she bought the new bassinet that’s made for the Nuna mixx next so I’d say it should fit :)
There are snaps underneath the basket. Easier to access it once you collapse it and then flip it over.
Mine has the bar through the basket which is the reason I can’t get the basket off. The bar is pop riveted onto the frame.

The instruction manual I found online says not to wash the matteress pad. Did yours turn out okay after the wash?
Yeah my mattress is fine, I made sure it dried completely aswell
Did you spin when u washed it? And did you use a dryer to dry after washing or just plain air dry?
Yes spin dry,

How about the leather handle , how to detail clean that ?
I just wipe it over when I wipe the frame. You can use leather cleaner etc, but I don’t think it’s real leather, I’m pretty sure it’s pleather
that’s cool but what if you just leave mostly everything on & wash, scrub with a brush & hose it down? do you think it would ruin the material on stroller? good idea to remove the bar😊
You can do that but depending on the brush you might damage the fabric and it may not complete dry therefore start some rust, but up to you
