  • I show my motorcycle handle bar repair using a Helicoil kit on my Royal Enfield Himalayan handle bar. This simple how to video shows a stripped thread repair after snapping the bolts off on my JFG Racing Hand Guards. whilst I was installing heated grips. The cheap bolts that come with these hand guards refused to budge from my motorcycle handlebars and ended up breaking. I show and talk about how to drill out the old bolts using a cobalt drill followed by a step by step motorcycle handle bar repair.

      No handlebar horrors.
My 78 GL1000 has nine of the sixteen floatbowl screws Helicoiled.
My pre unit 350 Bullet has three Helicoils in the rocker caps.

Helicoils are an absolute must have for bikes.
    Brilliant things.
Machine Mart do a mixed size set reasonably priced, every size you'll ever need on a bike.
Saves a fortune over the long run.

Great advice mate they are absolute life savers tbh. With soft metals these days it's very easy to strip a thread 👍
