To all the people who hate this even if it is weird it's their cars and it's part of their culture. The whole point of being a car person is not trying to put down people because their car is not the way you like it but instead to accept and come together as a COMMUNITY.

They have to upgrade the suspension and axles before they can be fitted with the ridiculously huge wheels. The only damage they're doing is to the ride comfort and gas mileage.

I love classic weekend. I used to live right by it. I would go talk to the kids and they would explain everything about thier cars. I'm a 51 yr old white lady, and these kids are SO polite. They love to tell you what kind if things they put inside the cars. The only thing I DON'T LIKE is how OPD acts. They block off the entire road and won't let you drive into residential areas. They hand out tickets too. These kids bring a LOT of money into Orlando... the cops need to appreciate Classic weekend, not try to ruin it...

I lived in Orlando for about a decade and it was like this every single year. Especially on West Colonial Dr aka 50.
All I can think of is the strain on the motor, transmission, suspension and brakes when you throw big rims on a car. Just because its moving doesn't mean it ain't hurting nothing. That's like taking a bicycle and throwing some 45lbs. weights on it for wheels. Let's see how long that'll last.
Most of the time the suspension components are strengthened and modified so that the car’s engine can handle the extra weight without overstressing itself
@@original__gmebvy Doesn't matter. You're setting the powertrain up for premature failure. Having a forged engine or upgraded suspension is irrelevant. The big wheels alone are pulling down on the car so the suspension parts are working twice as hard to compensate the weight of the rims, so the subframe bushings won't hold up for long. The transmission and the rear end will wear down and lock up twice as fast. Whether or not you have upgraded gears, synchronizers, or an upgraded torque converter if it's an automatic... it will eventually break. It's only a matter of time.
