Playing Battle Brothers I've learn the true meaning of 50% chance: the AI will hit a 100% of the 50-50 and I will miss 0% of them.
There' a funny saying:
"People only understand three numbers of percentages: 0%, 50% and 100%."
No, 80% isn't the same as 100%, nor is 95%. And 5% isn't the same as 0%, as much as our monkey brain tries to make us believe...
It can definitely feel that way as I have hopes for probability eventually evening out, but sadly it's not always the case lol.
It's the same feel with playing XCOM and somtimes the numbers like you more, and somtimes they like the AI more.
I definitely feel safer with 95% but enemy 5% scares me haha.
For when you no doubt get this oath again, there are two temporary injuries that can be healed in combat with bandages and thus removed and will next exist on the world map. Grazed neck is one of them
Cut arteries is the other one.
Thanks for the heads up, I'm getting better with having bandages around but will have to definitely use them to save us from the injuries more often :)
Just wanted to say thank you for doing these seasons. I just got into BB and watching your seasons has been SO helpful. Legends Mod really adds so much more to the game. If you find a spot on the roster, Warden as a punchy man would be great! Keep it up!

Yeah, i dont like this DLC, seems like all the enemies are buffed and the game itself hasnt really done anything new and spectacular.
Wdym with "buffed"? None of the enemies got changed in this patch as far as I can remember. This is just vanilla BB which is a lot more straight-forward than legends, but also lacks certain quality-of-life options like camping.
Well in the update that followed it mentions some balancing, but it just seems like enemies hit more low percentage and my guys miss higher, just as for Snow. I have always played this game as its always 50/50 to hit or miss but now it seems harder. Could just be me 🤷♂️
@@tommillard3878 I'm 99,9% sure BB (unlike some other games in the rogue-like genre) doesn't mess with percentages. It feels pretty samey to me personally.
@@tommillard3878 That's understandable, the devs did say they did some small rebalances but I believe it's just the rough RNG of Battle Brothers in full force.
Legends and modded BB has more utility to deal with RNG but vanilla doesn't, so it definitely 'feels' rougher.
There isn't anything super "big and new" in this dlc (probably why it was free) but the 2 new origins are fun, which is what matters :)
