    I had a 2013 Toyota Camry LE as a daily driver, and I loved it. It was great on gas, fun to drive, great on the freeway or in town driving. It's 16 inch tires are full of air and you'll notice a smother ride as compared to thin 19 or 20 inch tires which you'll feel every rut and pothole on the road and are more expensive to replace. The 16 inch tires are inexpensive to replace, and so are the light bulbs. This car is perfect for most people who go to and from work everyday, run errands, weekend trips this Camry is your little work hose. It's a nice looking care and I'd buy one if I didn't own a Toyota Tacoma right now. You can't beat it.

    I wish they would make those smaller rims optional on the upper trim. I live in an area with a lot of potholes and more tire less rim is a bonus.

      @AskforBryan  Před měsícem

      The SEs and XSEs have a lot more going on with the bodywork and the smaller wheels would kinda look off in my opinion. I do understand what you mean with tire costs though. The sport trims are meant to me sporty though, both in appearances and in handling. Those 17s are clearly economy tires which aids in the 51 MPGs.

      In the real world of driving, more ground clearance and tire side wall is better. A better ride and fuel economy should have been our first clue that thin tires and big rims are a silly trend.

      A lot of that decreased disability has to do with crash test safety standards with a lot more emphasis on roof damage so as these cars get structurally stronger that typically means they are going to get a little bit thicker on the roof lines. At least they do have a lot of safety features baked into help with that now.

Quite incredibly, we have to pay for 18" rims in the package that gives us the SE with the AWD we need for extra winter traction. No bueno. 😡 This aggravation just adds to the frustration caused by the chronic shortage of Hybrids in our market. We make the RAV4, Lexus NX and RX Hybrids up here but they are in very short supply. I would really miss it if it was gone. When you start the car cold it's just going to run the engine anyway to warm it up, so there's no point to parking it with a fully charged battery because it's just going to recharge it while it's warming up. Please be the Toyota rock star by taking a stab at answering the following questions that no one else has been able to answer:
    1. Does the 2025 Camry have steel knuckles or aluminum knuckles?
    2. Approximately how many shop hours to replace new lithium ion battery in 2025 Camry under the seat? I’m hoping the new design requires less time to be removed to get the battery out compared to the previous generation.
    3. Does the 2025 Camry have an electronically controlled variable oil pump?
    4. Does the ECVT transmission in the 2025 Camry have a slush lubrication system or does it have a dry sump system like the 2024 Prius Prime?
    5. Is the transmission in the 2025 Camry the PB12 transmission like in the 2024 Prius Prime which is larger than what is in the standard Prius?
    6. Does the 2025 Camry have lug nuts with bolts or did you switch to bolts like on the 2024 Prius?
    7. Does the 2025 have a re-designed Two Piece timing chain cover like the 2024 Prius which was re-designed to eliminate the chances of leaks?

    Toyota ruined over 30 years of trust because they wouldn't stand behind my 2020 Camry problems. Calling all the problems "normal" for the 2018 and up Camry's doesn't fix the car. The new Camry's become overpriced throwaway junk. A mechanic at the dealer during one of my trip to the dealer for the antifreeze smell and hard shifting told me there were lots of complaints but not expect Toyota to do anything. Toyota was concentrating on trying to make next years cars work right.

I expect MY Car to last 20 years and 200,000 miles without major repair. The Battery will not last this long. Screwed by the green new deal. Can I buy the car I desire by flying to Japan and buying it there? My family has purchased three Camrys in the past. Outstanding history of longevity and reliability. I am not buying a hybrid Camry.
