I have an atgames SEGA Genesis. It works fine. I copied about 200 ROM files to a SD card and insert it into the machine and can play them without problems. It can even download the ROM from a cartridge and play it.

Nothing beats the original hardware in terms of quality it is a shame that sega genesis clone consoles don't get as much quality as Nintendo's mini consoles.
Hyperkin is working on their own HD clone of the Genesis right now
It's still emulation for those minis like various tech reviews have shown here on youtube even if nintendo made it themselves. But the super analog nt console on the other hand is a whole different story.
One thing is not beating the original hardware, other is losing to a 1999 MS-DOS emulator.
When you can't beat freaking genecyst in precision, you should just give up.
When the SNES Classic can run Genesis games better then their own branded system can, that's saying something (bad).

The reason why it took me SOOO LOOOOONNNNG is because mainly of your past videos of you showing gameplay of the Call of Duty games (kinda stupid when you think about it). On most of his old videos i mainly clicked on the video and had it playing in the background while i browsed other stuff at the same time and just listened to it like a podcast. I did enjoy watching the gameplay occasionally so i was worried when Rich tried changing it in the past. However this time with this awesome looking setup, i never want him to change back.

There's copyright issues with some of the music in Sonic 3, which is why Sega are now reluctant to re-release it. One of the Zones' themes, Icecap, is literally an unused track from the musician's band. Look up "Hard Times" from the Jetzones and compare it to Icecap Zone's music.
Fox Mulder Is all of the music the same? There was a PC version of Sonic 3 that replaced all the problem music.
Retro Gamer It's not all of the music that's the problem, just some of it - two or three tracks I believe. Sonic 3 hasn't been re-released in recent years.
Speaker Sex He didn't make the entire soundtrack, he just contributed. He was dissatisfied with the sound quality of the Mega Drive.

*I can tell you what likely happend to cause the "B=Up" & "C=Down" problem. The programmers of the software likely didn't have the finished controllers & were using other controllers on their development computers. The actual controllers that came with it, likely had different button mapping. Once the program was written, I bet the programmers were gone, because they were contracted, not employees. So the only thing they could really do, is add an image to tell you how it works. Just a guess.*

Oh god here we go. How can you not have any of the Streets Of Rage games on this thing or even Sonic 3? Sonic 3 is like the best Sonic game of the Genesis trilogy. Btw I had that small AtGames Sega Genesis console. It was the worst console I have ever played and the wireless controllers it came with are extremely unresponsive and don't even work. This feels like an AVGN episode.
Not to mention the _damn sound quality._

@@ReviewTechUSA hey RTU , , you upload some fun and informative content 👍 , , this Sega HD flashback from AT Games , is an infamous ROM ripper/dumper , , every time you powered up one of your vintage cartridges in this HDMI version of AT Games flashback it copied your game into it's temporary system memory , , , the HUGE red flag indicator of this is on the box , , it offers "translation patches " , they don't patch a cartridge, , , , they patch the extracted ROM ,😱 😱 the earlier AT Games Sega consoles (AV output only) they only read your carts ,similar to actual SEGA's no ripping in those ones , , , , love the one I got , 💙 I may even upload a review about mine someday , ,👍👍👽

The battery compartment cover is held in place with a screw because it's considered a toy, and toys are required to have screwed-on battery covers.

We had a super entertainment system in my living room growing up in the 90's. Remember those big wooden things with compartments? Big one for your 27" TV. One a little smaller for your stereo system. Speakers on each side on the floor. Shelves for your VCR and a cupboard for your VHS collection. Oh, and even a shelf up top for some family pictures or something. Good times. Those things were SUPER.

Love your reviews. Weirdly on the AtGames, Ive recently purchased a UK 🇬🇧 version on sale at Argos, and mine is different to this reviewed model. No screws on the back of the controller, fake volume scroller by the power and menu button, up and down direction keys to scroll through the menus and tried the 100 rings on Sonic 2 and mine didn’t do what this model did. Maybe they have updated it?? It even has a SD card slot on the side. 🤔 Although, loved this review and funny to see the differences between this model and the 1 I got few days ago.

No, you can get emulator packs and just install them on the PI in a few minutes.
You can also get PI's with pre-installed emulators on EBAY. They even come packed with ROMS already.

Anyway, a Raspberry is WAY cheaper than a Wii.

Because there's like 40+ built in genesis games in there. It's way way cheaper when you factor how much physical sega carts cost.
My thoughts exactly, I want to be able to play the games and have them run smoothly, not just have the roms.
@retro gamer Fair enough, but for the vast majority of people who are going to buy this and maybe play it a couple hours a month, they won't care much about performance and they just want to play the games - not collect them, so it is a way better option. The majority of people will play this thing a few hours here and there for a month and then put it in the closet and hardly ever touch it again.
You know maybe I would listen to you if you had not insulted me but now I am convinced that you are either a fanboy or a plant by @Games.

There is also a saving issue within Phantasy Star (the built-in version). The issue is that you can not just save once and quit the game. You'll need to save the game then walk a few paces (in any direction) and save again. Another way, to ensure that your game is saved, is to heal yourself (after you've unlocked the ability) or an ally. Going to the resting house or to the hospital will not work.
