Super-groups where you've got 4 famous people in a band or whatever usually suck, but the ones where a few famous musicians who are already known to be mates just decide to make some music often either work well or die off before getting something out.
Passive was a kick-ass track that Trent didn't want released. It just makes you wonder if there are songs just as good that he won't release. A lot of artists of all backgrounds, often think their work came out just mediocre when others will see it as genius.

I think it's interesting that he says that the end result was 7/10. There are now two released tracks that are now confirmed by Maynard that they were once Tapeworm tracks. Passive (released under A Perfect Circle) and Potions (released under Puscifer). Now maybe this is just me, but I think those two songs are absolutely phenomenal, especially Potions. Very cool guy. Basically doesnt want to put something out unless it is 100% kick ass and from the heart. Despite the fact that they could make alot of money. Saw NIN in Michigan 5 years ago and still in my top 2 concerts of all time!
I love how this question ALWAYS gets asked. I'd rather they start working on new material now then try to release anything that was done back then. Be patient people I'm sure once their schedules work out we will be rewarded with some cool music.
“I was taking some time out”...I fucking live the guy. I don’t reason he takes time out. Humans do that. He’s more of a song. I wake up and have breakfast (I don’t cos I’m ill). TR wakes up and another genius song has occurred.
The difference for me… not that anyone cares… is Maynard has a fucking killer voice!! And can change it along with his writing skills… Trent puts his whole self in which Maynard does too but when you see them live….holy fuck!!! Maynard always puts in an amazing show!! No matter what band he’s preforming but Trent….oh Trent…I almost pass out and have never had that effect before
I saw NIN with David Bowie. The man has certainly been involved in some outstanding collaborations. I would say he's lucky, but it's probably something more like talented and respected.
One reason I love Trent is he is one of the few people that can deal with Maynard and Mansons egos.

Got that right. We're getting 7/10 with puscifer so why not. It will sale and we the fans will love it

It would most likely still be one of the best things my ears have ever heard

Tool's 11 out of 10 btw.
The bigger the waistband, the deeper the quicksand.
Amen! At the bare minimum!
@@algo2957 Too funny this coming from a guy who makes a living having mens balls bounce of his chin.
Thats a stretch. They were long ago asshole
ten outa ten!
YES.
and unhappiness pushes you to think more than you would
There are some pretty cool in-studio photos from the Tapeworm sessions out there on the web, if you search for them. Mostly of Trent and Maynard, and various pieces of equipment. Neat stuff
See, this is what someone should have showed Steven Wilson and Mikael Akerfeldt BEFORE they released Storm Corrosion. Trent gets it.
good ! i totally agree with trent
i can't wait for whatever they do when they get together again.
I'd kill to hear a full record of Tapeworm music. I know it won't happen, but I can wish.
💙💙💙
The song Passive by A perfect Circle was born from Tapeworm. Something good did come of it.
If Trent and Maynard ever decided to ACTUALLY release a full-length album; it would literally tear a hole in the universe and it would fucking PHENOMENAL!!! 🤘💯👌👍🎸🥁🐲
Fuck yeah. I agree. I love that Trent has so much respect for both labels. If it's gonna be Tool and NIN it's gotta be a fucking religious experience.
Puscifer did release a few songs from this project and they are amazing 10/10 imo
Danny Carey was the missing link in Tapeworm. Pretty fuckin simple.
I can respect that but the world deserves Trent and Maynard too see what happens
"10 out of 10". Absolutely, Goddamned correct.
Damn Straight!!
His voice is DEEP
Id have front row tickets to that event!
Hopefully they'll revisit this ideas they have together as friends and rip out a portal through another plane of existence by the means of their long-awaited EP
Trent Trent Talk Talk
Very cool guy. Basically doesnt want to put something out unless it is 100% kick ass and from the heart. Despite the fact that they could make alot of money. Saw NIN in Michigan 5 years ago and still in my top 2 concerts of all time!
I love how this question ALWAYS gets asked. I'd rather they start working on new material now then try to release anything that was done back then. Be patient people I'm sure once their schedules work out we will be rewarded with some cool music.
Meow is the time Mr. Reznor.
“I was taking some time out”...I fucking live the guy. I don’t reason he takes time out. Humans do that. He’s more of a song. I wake up and have breakfast (I don’t cos I’m ill). TR wakes up and another genius song has occurred.
THERE IS HOPE
This man is so handsome
The difference for me… not that anyone cares… is Maynard has a fucking killer voice!! And can change it along with his writing skills… Trent puts his whole self in which Maynard does too but when you see them live….holy fuck!!! Maynard always puts in an amazing show!! No matter what band he’s preforming but Trent….oh Trent…I almost pass out and have never had that effect before
Tapeworm’s Potions and Vacant are out there as redone Puscifer and APC songs. Vacant became Passive which is a 10/10 to me.
Me 2!! ☺
This would've been so crazy awesome....
me too back in 2000
Agreed.
Back in the Tront era
10 of 10 from them will be something like a 100
Une fusion entre NIN et TOOL serait énorme ! Trent Reznor et Maynard James Keenan ? Excellent ! 2018 ? 2019 ?
the demos sounded pretty cool imo...the 10 or so songs that I've heard.
that you've heard where?
If it were to happen, it will surely bend space-time so much that it would create a black hole and we will fall back to where it all started.
I saw NIN with David Bowie. The man has certainly been involved in some outstanding collaborations. I would say he's lucky, but it's probably something more like talented and respected.
You get over there and you sing RIGHT MEOW!
They should try again.
Still waiting
Fuck yes it is!!
