*UPDATE* I used the Engel for a Catfishing trip. Was fully charged and run on the highest speed night prior to keep bait fish alive. Lasted about 14 hours and died overnight… The 36 hour run time must be if it’s on the lowest setting I’d imagine. Just wanted you guys to know. 🎣😎

I use the bubble box to and your right real noisy and the price of batteries it wouldn't take long for the Engel to pay for itself, great video Paul

You can try putting some insulation in the pump compartment of the Bubble Box and glue a piece of foam down the backside of the housing for more sound dampening.

I buy minnows the night before and use a Marine Metals 110 volt at home, then either the bubble box or baby bubble box on the water

I think it would be good to put the Engel that used D batteries in the test. I have the Engel and Bubble box that use D batteries and in this case the Bubble Box puts out more air and is quieter. In fact the Engel sound is just irritating and I have multiple units. I haven't tried the lithium model but it does seem quieter in your test. Thanks.

water runs down hill making any water that lands on the bubble box internal parts get wet thats the end of your bubble box i have put bags over then i have left then in the box they came in They end up still getting wet. i don't know how many times i have bought a replacement. One thing ForeSure you can tell when they arnt working you can no longer hear the rumbeling coming from your bait bucket anymore

I’m intrigued by this, I use a bobble box, same as you have here and it works fine. But darn does it go through batteries! I knew Engel made bait coolers but I didn’t know they made aerators. Makes sense. I’ll look into this. It’s cool they sent you out one. I would of never known they make them. Another good one 👍🏻

Yea I haven’t had any issues with my bobble box either, but I also don’t use it too much. How loud it is just drives me nuts. Iva had to buy a couple packs of batteries which adds up over time. I’m glad Engel contacted me and gave me a chance to check this out. It’s really light and ultra quiet. Now if they would just send me one of those nice bait coolers they got 😜. I’d leave mine in a heart beat. But yea check em out. I might do a follow up review on this one after I get to use it some more. I’m keeping my bubble box at home now when I go on my fishing trips. 😎🎣

They make a bubble box called "2 way". It comes with a power cord to plug into a cigarette lighter. Or you can use the D batteries.

@@Paulcatchesemall its actually Hush bubbles 2 way, but it's from the same company. It's also quite a bit more expensive. $28 to $35 depending on where you buy it.

Nice video, definitely a big difference in price. But definitely after buying a few packages of batteries they would be about the same. Definitely something to consider if your using your aerator everyone your on the water. Have you had anymore time using it? Any other thoughts?
