  • On September 18, 1947, Congress established the Department of the Air Force and the United States Air Force. For 75 years, generations of Airmen have proven to the world that Americans have what it takes to Accelerate, Innovate, and Thrive in the face of new challenges, adversaries, and technologies. On this momentous anniversary, we salute Airmen past and present for their contributions to the world’s greatest Air Force. Continue to aim high, Airmen!
We hope you enjoy this virtual concert featuring The Commanders and filmed right here at Travis Air Force Base. Not only does this concert celebrate the US Air Force as a whole, but it is a fun tribute to The Band of the Golden West’s legacy of jazz performances in the big band style!
