Listening to all of these mazurkas is like accompanying Chopin from the start of his life to his end through music
It truly is, as the Op. 68 No. 4 is assumed to be Chopin's last composition. It is said to have been written on his deathbed, Chopin himself being too weak to play it. After years of sickness, it is alluring and sad to hear Chopin's "afterthought" of his mighty life in a dreamy mazurka that rejects death.
How much delicacy in these mazurkas how much Polishness. Poland, as it sounds proudly. These mazurkas remind me of my childhood home.My uncle often played Chopin. He is my beloved composer , although I love others.Mazurkas remind me of summer evenings, when the croaking of froghs could be heard through the open window overlooking the garden and pond and the moon rose over the trees in the garden, turning the world into a fairy- tale illusion. Now I listen to this beautiful music on summer evenings in Polish manor houses..I love classical music , I just love it, it's amazing.
Your comment is a Mazurka in-and-of itself! 🙂
Poland was not Poland of these days
One of the greatest composers to have ever lived. His Nocturnes made me want to be a pianist ever since I was 11 years old. Still studying and performing his music 15 years on.
Amazing how Chopin's music still sounds novel almost 200 years after it was written.

The Mazurkas are the true heart of Chopin! Beautiful playing by Rem Urasin.
Listening to this is to see the whole world.. is to experience every season... is to feel every emotion... to taste each flavour... to see every corner of nature... to meet every person...
This is one's entire life... in these small and simple pieces, which were in his time regarded as pathetic, lies not only Chopin's lifes, but ours too
Perfectly summarized
@@kuuderepiano2988 thank you!
Dude, totally poetic!
@@dezato9839 thanks!
Why were the pieces regarded as pathetic?.
Behind the apparent complexity of classical compositions lies a mastery of simplicity. Each intricate piece is meticulously crafted, with every note serving a purpose in the grand musical architecture. It's a genre that demands both technical prowess and emotional sensitivity from the performers, and the result is a harmonious blend of complexity and simplicity that stands the test of time.
"Chopin's scherzi are like the tasty fat of a lamb chop. His polonaises and etudes are the meat itself. The sonatas, ballades, chamber works and songs are the vegetables. The preludes are the salt and pepper. The nocturnes and waltzes are the gravy. The sonatas and concerti are the plates and cutlery. The mazurkas are the drinks." - Albert Einstein
i cant find anything about einstein saying this, where did you get this quote?
@@TL-do7uq I made it up, of course. Sorry!

Chopin has got me to appreciate Polish music even more. His classical works as well.
Hi everyone! This is the very first comment of the year 2022. Happy New Years to everyone! Who knows what historical events will later follow up and define this year. This decade has started off awfully, but far from the worst. Let this year be the enlightenment. I hope everyone is having wonderful time listening to these delightful, sincere, and special pieces by Frédéric Chopin. We’re very privileged to be able to listen to these pieces here on the internet, even more, the ones that are able to play them on the real instrument. But most importantly, I wish every single soul here the very best!
Mazurki z Polski zauroczyły świat
Coś pięknego ❤️
There is only one photograph of Chopin (discounting the early crudely taken ones) and in it he looks quite uncomfortable and melancholy. What a complex man he was, writing joyful mazurkas that could make you want to dance as well as pieces that could make you cry.
I’m sure it was taken in the mid to late 1840s when he was extremely sick from TB.
I've listened to Chopin for years and just now HEARD of a Mazurka. It's like finding an unwatched episode of a TV show you already finished. New pieces to enjoy! :)
I used to play a Mazurka, couldn't remember wich one it was...
So I just listened to every of these beautiful pieces to find out it was one of the last...
But no regrets, it was a wonderful moment

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love Chopin's Mazurkas so much they are so appealing and beautiful, simple yet complex. I think they represent the true spirit and soul of Chopin and they were beautifully played by this wonderful pianist
I 100% agree!
One of many beautiful moments on this track
Hi "Brilliant Classics", thank you for the melodies, thank you for the memories - my late mother was a Montreal Symphonic Orchestra first violin - I lost her at a young age. I grew up with Chopin, Beethoven, Rimsky-Korsakoff, Mozart, and more... It is people like you that help educate a younger generation of the talent and ingeniousness of classic composers. May God bless you...
Thank you for taking the research, work and time to list Chopin's Mazurkas - which brings me back to my youth when my mother was still alive and practicing to help me fall asleep.
May Peace be with you, Ciao, L
such a lovely sentiment:)
Made me cry
Hi Louis, thank you for your kind words - Years later, I would end up being a Navy Pilot fighting in wars I never wanted to be into. Strangely enough, us pilots, when "drunk", we would reminisce our childish days when for a few minutes, we could go and be held by our respective mothera and be "protected", just for a few minutes while in the midst of the "fog of war".
Peace be with you, Ciao, L
Rest In Peace amazing mother.
Thank you BC. I've not heard these dances played as a set before, but your pianist certainly did them and Chopin justice. They are delightful.
Remember that it's just a bad day, not a bad life. So take a rest and give your mind and heart peace while listening to this beautiful melodic music.
Im Polish and I grew up in Germany ,started Piano when I was 6. From a certain point I wanted to play only Chopin and Liszt. I hate to perform in the public though that's why becoming a professional artist was never an issue for me. Although it was debated with my teacher. Enjoy this wonderful music my friends!
There’s other composers as well to play
Yes like Bach, Mozart, Debussy and many more. You just gotta open your eyes.
Enough to live 40 years to live forever.
I am listening to this on a sunny Sunday morning, as i am laying lazily in bed. Its a cozy weather and rays of Sun enters in my Room through my Window as It warms my feet. Perfect soundtrack for that

This. Is. Literally me right now
I am not pianist, but i love this composer...and especially mazurkas❤❤❤❤
I love the mazurkas most of all Chopin's work.
Chopins mazurkas have a feel of a spring garden with dappled sunshine and blossoming flowers..it speaks of the joy and energy of life.
Very well said. Thank you.
100 % spot-on exactly what i feel when listening
Some of them are not that joyful though
@@squirrel4727 - Yes they also speak of sadness
Try listening to the ones with the minor key.
Chopin's music mesmerizes personally, all sadness and worry can be chopped off if one hears these beautiful pieces of music. Recommend all to hear these wonderful pieces.
It takes sadness, loss, and suffering through interesting stages almost as if through the span of a song, one can live a lifetime and reflect back on the good and the bad with melancholic joy. The first time I heard his Ballade No. 1 I cried, and every time since it's felt like reflecting on the life I shared with a now deceased friend, or wife. As if I was living back through the good and bad memories from the perspective of a death bed. Wild stuff.
Chopin's music is so beautiful it makes me cry.
What a brillant version ! Simplicity and musicality in a perfect balance, with a sensitive but discrete rubato. A very modest and introspective romantism, never betraying Chopin...
Simplicity can mean a lot of work, and the best is to not feel this hard work at all at the end !
Deep respect to Rem Urasin.
The wonderful folk dance becomes a sophisticated poem 👍❤
There are so many gems in these mazurkas. I never get tired of listening to all of them.

Perfect study music. Love this man. RIP Chopin
A think book from a collection of famous artists brought me here. I am so lucky. Mazurka and Polanaise..
You would never guess what brought me here. I knew and liked some Chopin yes, but thats not why i AM here. Its actually because when watching an episode of the action series The Professionals (episode called Dead Reckoning) in there is a piano player who plays the Op. 63 III Allegretto in G sharp minor. Its in a point of the episode where its fairly at the beginning. I had to go all the way to 2:25 on this album to find it-hard work only in the sense that I didnt have a computer mouse but other than that at least I know many of the Mazukas now! Thanks for posting this album!
Because Chopin missed his native Polish Country he pad out his missing into these briliant masurkas, and many different compositions, Chopin's music is based on polish rhythm, Perfect!

He missed not only his native country, but also some women he was in love during his life.... love for a country is not sufficient to produce such great inspiration. Above the country, there s human love, and above human love, there s love for God.... as JS Bach showed us.

For the past 4 years this has been my favorite Brilliant Classical video 💛
They seem so simple yet so amazing
CHOPIN WAS THE MOST AMAZING PARLOR PIANIST AND STAGE PIANIST AT THE TIME. I WAS ALMOST THERE. WAIT, I AM ONLY 62. BUT THE FACT STILL HOLDS TRUE. THE POLONAISES, NOCTURNES AND ETUDES WILL BLOW YOUR MIND. AND OF COURSE THIS COLLECTION OF MAZURKAS. SUCH TOUCH AND VOLUME. THANKS FOR POSTING.
Wow, I think that's the most radical rubato I've heard at 1:41 - Passport to another era.

Jahrhundert.
Saw Horowitz in Atlanta in the late 70's early 80's--One of the best days of my life--he and Chopin were cojoined spiritually
Never heard of the pianist before this. His interpretations are truly beautiful.
You've obviously not heard Piotr Anderszewski play
These interpratations are infinitely beautiful!!!!
I'm gonna have good life with Chopin’s mazurkas.
I,love Chopin.
I haven't touched a piano in a good 12 years but quarantine has led me to try to play the Mazurka Vivo in C for some reason. Currently playing it Lento lollll

Cindy Ann Come and listen to the wonderful music of Mozart and Beethoven.
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL
Wow, what a collection of compositions of Chopin, who has come to represent the beautiful instrument of piano. Thanks to the artist, Rem Urasin, for his mellow playing of the beautiful short mazurka pieces.
I have truly loved this collection of mazurkas. Some of interpretations are so fresh and different from other artists. For example Op. 24 no 1
happy birthday chopin ❤
Who knew he made so many Mazurkas! Holy!
These are the most beautiful renditions I’ve ever heard
Chopin God Bless you 😍
Rem Urasin God bless you too 😍
The mazurkas are Chopin's diary...❤️

These are *(*my favorite)* brilliant Mazurkas.
chopin........inmortal
Love all Chopin Mazurkas....
There are many composers with some
memorable compositions and here is Chopin still alive, who only could make the wonder: written us not only pieces about love, sadness, melancoly, delight, patriotism, but gives us the true feelings of these emotions listening to him.
Press ctrl+F, type in "C-sharp minor" and then listen to the mazurkas that fall under this category. I guarantee you that those are some of the best minor pieces in the repertoire. This works with Chopin's waltzes, nocturnes, and other composers' works like Rachmaninoff.
FWIW, many of the early songs of the Beatles were in C#minor.

Such beautiful music. The music of Chopin is truly scerene.
When you hearing this music you can create in your mind everything.
His own intended. Amen!

I have never seen so many 'Mazurka' words in a playlist in my life until now. 🔥 ✌ 😅
If the title says "Chopin Mazurkas", what does it means? 😂😂😂
i just finished reading and studying with this music. always love Chopin. thank you.
Chopin is always in our hearts!!
I won't be able to live without this music.
I feel that I fall in love with Chopin ,,, he's talking with my heart by his melodies
it is easy to fall in love with his music, but if you have known the person himself it is even easier..He was a very kind and intelligent man
@@menekse1 He had a pretty good sense of humor too lol. Though it's also said he used to get very angry with his students and make them cry from time to time. Whatever the case, he sure was a musical genius and a half!
Fryderyk Chopin wrote over 58 mazurkas between 1825 and 1849.58 mazurkas were published: 45 during Chopin's lifetime and 13 mazurkas were published posthumously. There are 11 other manuscripts of mazurkas, which are kept in private collections....
