    Do you use vellum or acetate in your planners? I love it but I'd love to know what you use it for! 💕

    Any suggestions to keep vellum paper for wedding save the dates from curling after cutting?

    • @thefoxicorn
      @thefoxicorn  Před rokem

      Sorry, this comment just showed up for me! I'm not sure on that one though! Hopefully you got your answer elsewhere! Because the vellum I use goes into a notebook/planner, it gets flattened over time. There are thicker forms of vellum that are typically used for weddings that don't curl like the think stuff. I know that's what is normally used for invitations and such, probably for that reason.

    Can you use vellum to shrink it in the oven like shrinky dinks ?

    • @thefoxicorn
      @thefoxicorn  Před 2 lety

      No I don't think so. I believe to make shrinky dinks it has to be plastic and vellum is not plastic - it's cellulose fibers.

    I printed on acetate only one time and days later the ink smeared. Do you have to have special printer/ink to print on acetate? Is there a trick I don't know??

    • @thefoxicorn
      @thefoxicorn  Před 3 lety +1

      I don't use special ink but I do put the settings on draft and I check my printer's save on ink setting, just like with vellum. Even then though, I usually have to let acetate sit for a whole day at the very least. I don't print on acetate much anymore because it's such a pain but I have gotten it to not smear by doing these things.

      Thank you for the tutorial. Question, which settings would you use for a color print design? Hope this makes sense.

    • @thefoxicorn
      @thefoxicorn  Před 3 lety

      @Nichelle Davis I actually use the same settings for color except that I don't set it to grayscale. 💕
