Yeah but if you think about it even though Sheila likes him but at that age Dale couldn't get a pretty girl like Nancy to actually marry him and live with him again and put up with all of his bs . Sheila is an exception. No other pretty lady will take Dale. Just like what Peggy said once in the episode Nancy gets fired from her new job that Nancy needs Dale in way,he keeps her in line in a way from going off the rails because she's too pre occupied and distracted because of Dales shananigans. No other pretty girl like Nancy is actually going to put up with all the stuff Dale gets up too, and even though she cheated on him for a long time like that she does have a soft side for Dale. It's like they both stayed in their marriage for each of their own sake and for Joseph to have loving parents. Dale's sake been he dosnt want end up like Bill all miserable and pathetic and very lonely and having a hot wife like a trophy wife who gives him money too so he can pursue his own lifestyle while Nancy provides most of the income to support him and Joseph. Dale dosnt work or earn much,he always gets up to his own mischief too and likes to bum around. They don't just deserve each other, they need each other.
