- In today’s vlog we head to Icon Park on I-Drive for the preview of Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips restaurant. We give you all the details and try all of the amazing food on the menu! They have fish & chips (of course lol!), chicken, lobster & shrimp, and even fishwhiches (their delicious fish in handheld form). We also got to try the dirty chips, all of their dipping sauces and a shake! Jackson loved the chicken, shrimp and the chips, so it was definitely a kid friendly menu, which was great! Omg, that’s me performing on the lawn! And what honor, the young food critic clapped for me and is enjoying my music!! I can’t wait to eat there! My brother and I stopped by like 5x and it wasn’t open yet! Cant wait to try it all and I think I’ll start with shrimp … or maybe that fried chicken?? 🍗 😃 (btw the restaurant porch is my backstage/behind my speaker which makes the sound a bit distorted, so a nice option is to take the food over to the lawn bar)

@@Classy22l Newspapers that are new. Pretty darn sterile. Though now they use papers that come in a box that have newsprint on them- not actual newspapers like they used to.

@@kristenevans4557 They had to do that cause the newspaper ink on the paper wasn't as safe to be used with food service as originally thought! They even did the same thing here in Aus, no more newspaper used since the mid 90's, now its served in a white open cardboard box (similar to the ones in this video) then are slid inside a white paper bag.

I was thinking it would be super fun if you guys did a “what we would do in one day at [Magic Kingdom]” (and the other parks!) I’m super curious what you guys would choose to ride, where you’d choose to eat, etc. We are planning a trip for the next year or so and will only have one day in each Disney park and one day at Universal/IOA, so something like that would help so much! Love all your videos! ❤️

You could also just ask people, but opinions will vary. It'll come down to YOU. What does your party like to do? How much downtime will they need? Is this your first visit? What will your start and ending times each day be, etc...?
I had a half of a day at MK after a conference at the very last minute a couple years ago. I went in with both a game plan and low expectations just in case nothing panned out. I almost never get to go to Disney so I figured if I got the day just waltzing around Magic Kingdom I'd be a happy camper. Turned out the conference was right after the hurricane didn't hit Orlando in 2019 and the parks were dead so I got everything in and then some, but having a game plan and options were everything. Just know when the parks close and remember resort hopping is just as fun sometimes! I did a half day at MK then took the boat over to Wilderness Lodge to eat at the place there that's by the lake. It was a fantastic day to be so short. Another big tip- remember that you can buy a lot of the merchandise at Disney Springs, even resorts, Disney stores, online etc so resist the temptation to spend a lot of time in gift shops!

In the UK we usually eat fish and chips with our hands, unless you're feeling fancy, then you use a little wooden fork. Both are common!
Most of the time the seagulls will snatch your chips before you can eat them though 😂

I know that Americans like their chips thin and pointy, but in British chippies they tend to be thicker with a fluffy inner and a light crisp outer. In a restraunt environment there is the whole knife and fork thing for the sake of politeness, But when eating from a chippy, it's either fingers or a disposable fork to save greasey fingers. Seaside air always adds to the enjoyment. The fish and chips I had on holiday in Bournemouth will always be in my memory as one of the best tasted. Nibbling the fish and chips, sipping an ice cold local cider as the sun slowly set and the tide lapped softly against the shore.😊

As a Brit this seems a very American take on traditional fish and chips. It looked delicious saying that but surprised there weren’t more British options such as curry sauce or gravy for the chips.

Good video again. I'm from grimsby in the UK which is a fishing port. Our fish is bigger than the dinner plate. We call your portions fish fingers.😁 and they're not proper chips.

I haven't even eaten at this place but can tell you just from looking at the food, that it is nothing like good ole british fish and chips! The chips are quite obviously fries, nothing like how actual british fish and chips chips are, and fish pieces instead of a whole side of fish battered? I haven't found anywhere in Orlando so far that quite matches.

The fish is a whole battered fish, and the chips are thick and chunky. It's an Americanized version lol 😆

I started watching in 2018 when I was admitted into the hospital for a little over a month. Since then I’ve watched almost every video. Fish n chips is finger food, every sunday night in my house is fish n chip night, im from New Zealand we love our fish n chips, in fact i could eat fish every night cooked different ways, but my all time fav is fish in crispy crunchy batter made with flour and beer

We have fish and chips in Australia to ,and the best part when you are a child is digging in with your hands. It is the traditional way in the UK and Oz.

Biscoff cookie is what we call ‘speculaas’ in Belgium and Holland. It’s typically eaten with a coffee. We dip it also in a coffee. They make a kind of smearable from it to put on bread and it’s also a good ice cream flavour. I think almost every household in Belgium has these cookies in house.

Just a small observation , with a population of 25 million and 943 deaths total ( I realize ALL DEATHS are terrible ) . I feel like you guys are doing well! Proportionally to population . Australia has more deaths by auto accident (1,200) per year .

The problem is it's not really a lockdown, none essential businesses are still open, dragging people into the shopping centres. We love watching Tim, Jen and Jackson going to the Disney parks, we actually game back just before to pandemic started, we arrived back on January 2020, we stayed at the Disney Pop Century Resort, we love it. Might I suggest making a mold plaster cast of thumbs up of Jackson's hand.you can buy the kit at hobby lobby or micheal and sometimes I've seen it at Wal-Mart. I did my kids hands when they were little . now 31 and 24...i still cherish looking at those cute little hands!
