Exodigo's Non Intrusive Utility Mapping Demonstration

Underground Service Alert hosted a demonstration by Exodigo of their Non Intrusive Utility Mapping Software.
Exodigo's team scanned our parking lot and created a map of the underground utilities in the area. Our parking lot is quite unique since it is the home of a PG&E meter station with many lines running underground.
This demonstration showed the new capabilities that A.I. has in locating underground utilities and an insight into what the future of utility mapping can look like.

Hi Kim, great question! When using the 811 service, if a utility operator chooses to mark the location of their underground utility line at the site, they currently are only required to mark the horizontal path of that utility line.
