Man, despite loving Tom's music for years and years, I think this is the first time I've actually sat and watched and listened to a full concert. Great stuff, beautiful music.
No one will ever be as cool as this man!
Still fucking cool 😎 in 2022
I was a teenager when i bought this cd when my grandma died. Music is all even when you fall. Love.
Ladies and Gentlemen, the one and only... Tom Waits
Greetings from Brazil. Tom, you are one of the bests!¡!!
I love that the tuning process was a part of the show.
I haven’t heard these numbers since 1978. Great stuff!
This is possibly my favorite of his preferences
god bless you
Til now I Didnt know he was there. Tom in good old germany. Ive been 13 then 😁
The chorus reminds me of a French old song... named Mathilda, it doesn't matter, but it might be that Tom has heard it when he was a child, somewhere. Anyway, his own song is different, so great, and much more beautiful, and it gives me a thrill as if he was remembering an old life in France!
Thank you so much for posting these gems- really so very much appreciated 👌
Thank you Lord you've made me able to enjoy him!
more than 40 years later he is one of
the best.
Liston to the female Versions of bis
songs, for me it was the point to
understand the high quality of his
songs, "THE THINGS YOU CANT
REMEMBER - Tell tHE THINGS YOU CANT FORGET - INCREDIBEL
GOOD. TOM or IS IT HIS WIFE, KATHLIN, IT MUST BE A WISE PAIR
THANKS A LOT, your raindog Holger,
Who ever is posting these- thank you
I wish other 17 year old lads and lasses are listening to this. Wow!
They are, you're not unique. I mean that in the nicest possible way
@@ChrisCantHaveItAll Fair to say that collectively - we are rare, no matter of the age group, right?
@@ChrisCantHaveItAll unique she is and a great taste she has!
Tom Waits, nothing more to say! Thank you for sharing
A one off & he’s great for getting rid of my tasteless in music dull associates I have to work with
An amazing artist & although I don’t play him every day, but he’s certainly one of my favourites
good stuff
I wish I was there
Thanks! ❤
What a performance!
Danke für den Upload liebe_r Freund_in!
Tom has never sounded young or unwise, but how young and reckless he looks!!

Someone: Who's the best, say, painter of all times?
Me: Oh, that's hard, so many geniuses in history, also comparing art is meaningless, different styles, aesthetics, blah blah blah
Someone: Ok, and what about the best musician of all times, past, future, this world and all conceivable universes?
Me: Oh, that one's easy...
Hell Yea.

“Let me get you.
You don’t want to know what this used to mean but I want to know how it feels when if she says okay or yes.” ,dan’

@@ChrisCantHaveItAll I don't know - I get the sentiment - the sure thing is that this is genius :)
“Sucking on a saxophone, the blues feel like the greens felt, like ice cubes in my coffee soul on a bus stop bench waiting to catch another ungrateful lift to the nearest sunny day and or a cold. Lobotomize the lobo, turn the screwdriver into a drink, counterclockwisdom and flex into the mirror for no good reason except for simply something to do because you’re simple.
In the kitchen with a toothbrush, out of the blue the black bird started singing, not to mock the bluebird who sang in the dark but because misery was falling for someone, for something. I adore a lady, a woman, a nurse.
Why before me stands the ghost of sadness and behind me is her reflection in the mirror looking past me, distraught and tying my shoelaces together to hang from the telephone wire with me in them still, in shock.” ,dan’
