This is the first of several episodes related to rebuilding a constant velocity joint in my 1970 u1100 / model 416 Mercedes Benz Unimog. I have dozens of short clips that I'm threading together and cleaning up as I have time. Be patient.
I am doing this because there are no videos out there documenting the cv rebuild process. the prevailing process is to replace the whole axle shaft, which bothers me. cv rebuild kits can be had, but they are hard to find. I hope this series helps somebody. Let me know in the comments!
