I’m not sure if you missed the sandwich-board gag or not? Jack says (about Navid): “At least Navid cares about the community. Look what he’s done, a completely selfless act for the benefit of Craiglang”. When they turn around, the back of the sandwich-board reads: “Navid’s for all your grocery needs”. 👏🏻🤣

Hey there Vase, I don't know if you noticed but on the back of the board Navid sneakily put advertisements to his shop hahaha, On the front "Save the clansman", on the back "Navid's for all your grocery needs". hahahaha Navid is a smart businessman haha.
Greetings from Paisley, Scotland. As soon as I realised it was this episode I was laughing even before the first joke was uttered.. 2 questions.. 1) have you had a chance to watch some of these with your friends and if so do they have a similar reaction? 2) going by your laughter.. Could this be a contender for your favourite episode? - - oh, and as for some minor errors ( dates names etc) in the whole series it doesn't change the fact that this is possibly the funniest comedy show from Scotland in years. - keep them coming Buddie. 👍🤣🤣

From the flash back scene we find out that Isa and Victor know eachother but in the episode " The Party" when Victor moves into his new house in 1975 he has no idea who Isa is.

There needs to be a Still Game timeline video. I know these errors aren’t really intentional but it would still be fun to do it.
I seen that years ago, there is a bunch of things that don’t match up, the third episode of season one, jack shows a picture of his wedding and it’s not his actual wife it’s a different person, she still has the name Jean but it’s doesn’t look like her. I could point out a bunch more but that’s takes the fun out of still game

At the time I thought the guy at the end looking for Navid was his son or a double, I didn't think it was Sanjeev not in Navid costume
Also: The Clansman was really knocked down IRL ( so they built this storyline around it ) so they build a replica on a sound stage, there's houses on the location now

You’re making something out of nothing. It was a stretch for me to understand the suggestion you meant, but I finally got it. It was nothing of the sort. To ‘stir someone’s porridge doesn’t have to have a sexual connotation to it. How does “porridge” apply to a woman? It simply innocently suggests an interference in someone else’s business/affairs.

That is very naive of you to suggest it.
If you look on Urban Dictionary you will see the real meaning.
Without being overly graphic it is the idea of a second sexual partner "stirring" a substance with a similar consistency as porridge left there by the first sexual partner.
This is a well used, and as mentioned, very disgusting phrase.

Well, I suppose it’s about personal interpretation. I really didn’t see it that way at all. To me, it was just another innocent phrase. Also, an “urban dictionary” does not carry any omnipotent law or rule… it’s just the compiler’s interpretation based on probably a limited and biased research sample.
I'm Scottish and I can tell you that "stirring the porridge" Is definitely used like this. For example if your mate is sleeping with your ex girlfriend slag him saying he is stirring your porridge.
Just as bad as sloppy seconds and frothy fourths, I know would give you the boak

Burniston is a show i have been waiting for you to get to but ill be patient till you finish still game unless you want to mix it in and another show im interested in is Friday night dinner you might not be able to do that one unless you have dailymotion because another American channel watched it on there and put the link in the description of the CZcams video with the episode title

Be very careful watching the last ever episode. It's a killer. So heartwarming, really, really well done but also really, really sad. A lovely ending but so sad. It is a great series though, glad you're enjoying it. My wife said they deserve an award for the last episode. We only watched it once, can't forget it but can't watch it again unlike all the others. 👍
The best episode of the weakest season for me, season 4 wasn’t that good imo.
