get a usb to usbc extender, cut the usb side, use wire tap to connect it BEHIND the dash where the original usb port is, filter the usbc cable through and slot it into your storage or wherever you wanna plug your phone in

Nah bro, give me a way to downgrade MIB3 units to MIB2 and I'd buy it any day.. that new unit you put in is worse, less reliable and if you use the online VW services often unusable if data coverage is poor.
@@Slow4runnerit’s an original VW Head unit, you need to find someone who can Code for a Head Unit swap like this, or someone who sell’s one just like his, pre coded, so that you can do the whole swap at home with no headaches whatsoever. Any type of original head unit that you swap will need this in newer VW’s since they have anti-theft codes in it.
