I love how long Cadillac kept the styling, it’s sad that it had to end, but you can’t keep things going on forever. from 1976-77-1992 they kept it all very similar. (It’s great if you want a classic car that acts like a “new car”)
These cars were built with real craftsmanship inside & out, the wood trim is very nice with class than than now days meaning I this better. I saw one like this (different color) with wire wheel covers which a younger person had & he loves his Cadillac which I'm glad to see some of younger generation drive & love these cars.
This really is a handsome car. The interior trim is very luxurious and I think was carefully assembled. At some point not long after this car, it became passe to have wood trim and deep pile velour upholstery. I like how the dash is very cleanly laid out. You cannot buy any vehicle today with front fender fiber optic lamp monitors that I am aware of. For me (and I lot of folks), 1992 was the end of the line for the DeVille/Brougham.
You could get one of every year from about 1976 to 1992 for that price. They are so underrated honestly, yeah they drive like boats, but they look so damn good!
I have a 1990 Brougham just rolled 140 K miles bought it last year and I have to say I enjoy the hell out of that car. I am getting all of the mechanical stuff sorted out first, then once I know it runs like a charm I will give her a new paint job and replace all of the cracker filler panels sadly the previous owner cheaped out on the repairs and upkeep so it will take some time.
I was a owner of the 1992 Lincoln town car from 1998 til 2013 and i miss that car ( american car) !! I don.t know what is wrong but between, the american style is the best and only style!! My message from Europe!
Love all my Cadillac never owned one I didn't love even my 82 Fleetwood brougham de'legance coupe that had the - HT-4100 engine that everyone hatesss rightfully so but i loved mine and drove it a 22 yrs old everywhere Tallahassee Florida jacksonville beach and all over Albany Ga Moultrie Georgia THOMASVILLE GA and all points in between had a overheat issue but still before i got rid of it i ALWAYS loved it since then and now i owned MAINLY Brougham 91 had a few other models amd own a 79 elDorado at the moment along with a few others like a 96 ss Impala and a 91 Cadillac Brougham and a 08 Denali 6.2 but I live by Chevy or GM Cadillac etc not much on ford's nothing against dodge or ford but I'ma general motors man🏆🏆🏆
You're first sentence makes no sense. You say, "Loved all my Cadillacs", then "never owned one", then, "I didn't even love my '82 Fleetwood? Which one is it?
Nope, 1992 was this last year Cadillac made cars without. Which was a bit late. Most cars by 1992 did have airbags, For the drivers side at least when I was about 11 or 12 my mother had a 1991 or 1992 mercury sable, i do remember it was a maroon car, and it had a driver only airbag

Exactly, more reliable and comfortable. Plus speed isn’t everything.
