Whether or not Tul and Max are in a relationship doesn't matter. What I think matters most is that in public, these two amazing men show young guys who are struggling with their sexuality that it's ok to be gay. They also show what a positive, loving gay relationship looks like. Max and Tul are awesome!
But the consistent fan service they give us even now is life. I follow both of them and there isnt a month that goes by that they aren't in each others story or post. But hey after 5 or 6 shows together.
This is more than just for marketing purposes. If you listen to them in their interviews they spend a lot of time together regardless of any event that they have. The staff and their friends consider them a couple. I have watched many bl dramas and you can tell which ones are a couple just for show. These two are much more than that. They may not be a couple but there is love and attraction there at some level.

Yeah, Tul was very into it the performance at that moment. Max is mostly oblivious. loool That was years ago anyway. Now Max is the one that is more touchy and Tul is like whatever do with me as you please. They don;t even do fan service anymore. Their regular interaction is beyond what fans ask for.

But the real kicker for me is that these young men occupy an inhibition-free zone of physical closeness and interaction; they model behaviour that is liberated from the hang-ups of males who limit their bonding with other men to bear hugs and high fives.
From 0:18 - 0:25 Tul seemed to be complaining. He didn't look comfortable. Max was overdoing it. But in general they are comfortable with each other. They don't get into drama situations like other pairings.
