Deserted heights is definitely a good choice. It’s a good and fun map that I actually had fun trying to beat.

some of the jumps like the long truss jump got noticeably harder when jump power was nerfed to 50, along with the high jump in the last room, which is such a pain in the ass LOL

The Jumps and obstacles were Really frustrating for AJ
Glad there's a video showcasing ups and downs with AJ, something regarding C+ maps, each map should have a unique core gameplay that makes it challenging + interesting. in RJ you have the element of speed and the most common form of jump which is long jumps being shoved around and for a good reason, 90% of crazy/C+ levels will be made out of long jumps, its a good tool to teach but annoying.
What makes AJ unique is that its a cluster of obstacles that you may find commonly in a level, It puts you in a stage of jump sideways then wraparound, truss, long walljump, long jump from cylinder, long jump to truss. etc. this cluster-mess is what makes it a demonic level to play.
My only issue with it is that if you wanna make a cluster of obstacle types, punishment should be at a proper stage and not one that is heavy against solo which this level seems to be aiming at...
The revamped version should've got highlighted instead, its soooo much better
I got used to the walljump at 2:11 beacuse its similar to lighthouse, just harder.
The jump to the truss is definetly the hardest jump in the map

Now in my opinion I don’t really mind abandoned junkyard too much anymore as I used too however I definitely just think it could be better, also I definitely think sub-zerosphere has a chance of getting highlighted because not only do I think it’s a really good easy crazy+ but also it’s just such a good introduction for crazy+ which tbh I feel like we should have had first when crazy+ first came out to fe2

Boltzone's track is actually BGM, it doesn't have an OST and a map is required to have an official soundtrack before it gets highlighted.
i heard in v5 it might grt an ost so who knows

1:40 This stupid ladder back jump has killed my run like 5 times when I actually make it this far.
i remember of the old ver it had a very different ganeplay and it was more consistent tho
Sometimes the long jumps and the obstacles can be too RNG in AJ
About Abandoned Junkyard, i actually have no reason why the lava rises so fast which makes the gameplay worse than i thought, also long jumps were just too harder for the players to complete due to the map being buffed by poipoity just to make it even more harder. i actually couldn’t beat the map, but im still trying to practice it lol.
i also hate abandoned fuckyard so much

some of the gameplay being oddly rotated in some way is just rigged in general
slopes / slants tend to not blend well with long jumps, and dont get me started on cylinders (which became even jankier with the MaxSlopeAngle addition)
honestly it feels like the gameplay is very half-assed and was made solely so it is "hard bc crazy+ is hard" even tho there's harder maps with better gameplay
tldr: jank gameplay sucks, many can agree
