    I found that on clients with fine hair that a teasing brush works better than a comb. It's a bristle brush but very thin an/or skinny. It gives a looser tease but incorporates more hair. When using a comb, for me I just thought the comb was giving a more harsh tighter tease which in turn makes it harder to hide then. I always follow with a finishing spray after I get the tease in also. Great site, good tips!!

    I have super fine hair and it is always a pain to style and keep volume and texture in my hair. i am loving this video. these simple and easy techniques will def help me out.

    Seriously thin fine hair is almost impossible to style. I guess that's why I rarely see videos showing really baby fine, thin hair.

    Thanks Kate. I am curious though how long that style lasted before it went limp?...:( Just a girl looking for some long term volume and wave/curl.

    Such a helpful video - thank you! I have really long fine hair and have started to notice that it looks thin and lifeless. I'll have to try the bulk teasing you did. Also, Rebecca is gorgeous!

    Ah, fine hair. The bane of my existence. Although I think I can better tackle it, now! My issue is that my teasing usually works its way out because my hair is fairly slippery. Would texturizing spray help to lock that teasing in? Great video Kate!

    I have fine hair, it seems to look thicker when I dye my hair a Brunette colour. I suppose the darker hue, gives the impression of more depth. But the annoying thing is, illogicallly I prefer to be blonde although I know it empathsises the thinness.

    • @valeriec3484

      Over time velvet rollers will ruin your hair and then make it more thinner. Use them sparingly.

      @HarryJonHairMakeup Před 4 lety

      The best thing to do Natalie is not look in the mirror when you are working around back. Let your hands be your eyes.. I did one video working on myself an then one working on a client with fine hair. Its gets easier i promise.

    OKAY. When you are curling a section of hair, you touch the hair wrapped around the iron before releasing it-sometimes a couple times. Are you checking to see if its heated all the way through?
