I just wanted to add this here, I walked down the aisle at my wedding to this song and it was absolutely perfect! I’ve been a huge Tangled fan for 12 years and when I heard this, it brought tears to my eyes for how romantic & soft it is. Thank you for this incredible acoustic cover.

For those who don't know the difficulty of what he did at 1:20, false harmonics are really hard to play cleanly and at the pace that he did.

I cant even do regular harmonics.
I watched videos on how to do it before but still couldnt figure it out.
@@umrnavy8282 I'm sure that what I type will be no better than the videos that you watched, but for normal harmonics, it only works on certain frets (and on some frets it works better than others) because it's a physics thing regarding frequencies.
The next time you're near a guitar, try and rest your finger of your left hand (if you play as a righty) on the e string at the end of the twelfth fret (directly on the line),. Don't press down, just rest it there lightly. Then pluck the e string with your other hand as you normally would. You should be able to create the effect. You can do it with any of the strings on that fret, as well as some other frets (like the fifth and seventh for example, but they won't be as easy or amplified).
If you want the effect/sound to be more pronounced and sustain longer, try and lift your finger off the string from its resting position immediately after plucking the string.
unfortunately my guitar neck isnt as long as his so i cant play the final note haha

The tangled wallpaper in the background is a nice touch.
I've been playing guitar for almost 2 years. self-taught and just for a hobby and fun. I can probably play this but it's very hard (adding those precise harmonics make it extreme) and require a lot of practice. there's a simpler version that is tuned down a bit and is very easy to learn, it took me one day to be able to play it.
but it still won't be able to beat the vibrant-ness of this arrangement. It's amazing and Very beautiful. I hope i'll be able to play like this too soon.
Wow do you have like any advice? I've been playing the guitar for a few months now, but I'm struggling a bit without a teacher. Kinda paranoid I'm going to do something wrong and make it a habit haha, do you just like watch those teaching videos and stuff? Sorry, I'm just really curious and I really suck at teaching myself.
@@alide282 All I can say is just practice a lot. I literally played the guitar everyday whenever I have time for few months straight (or at least I think so). I remember playing it b4 I sleep and after I wake up.
Starts simple and slow, do songs that you really like and are easy to follow and if you think you up for a challenge then go for it. But if it's too hard and takes too long, maybe take a breather and learn another piece. It takes a while to get used to different playstyles
I have a brother that I rarely meet who's very good at playing guitar. I spend a couple days with him and he taught me some stuff. So having someone you can refer directly is definitely a boost. But you really gotta take your own time to practice it.
There are tons of routine practice vid you can refer in youtube but like I said, I only do it for fun and hobby so I don't really follow them. Unless it's needed for a song I wanna learn XD.
