- If you have an 8th gen maxima do not do this to your car! The problem was fixed and hopefully this can help you to prevent the situation i went through or help you if you are purchasing one.

Yeah, it was probably messing with your speed sensors and making the computer go fucking crazy because having different size tires would affect the rolling resistance. It could make the back wheels stop rolling quicker than the front wheels and that can definitely confuse the hell out of your computer
One more thing where did you get those lights on your doors/dash? I fuck with that. I have an SR and there’s lights from factory in the same spot but they are dim as fuck and look like fuck

Nbs bro on my maxima recently I changed out the intake to a fkn dumbass short ram without the mahle vaccume thingy bro an engine bogged at low rpm on a single 60 pull that shit would bog out at like 35 half way power bra shit gay but I put stock on its running good engine light is on and whenever I’m cruise at 30 & let go of da gas the rpm needle go down then up then balance out where it’s at, shits weird man, I do rev my shit and throw it into the auto/manual mode
That’s weird sounds like it can be a vacuum leak or the maf sensor went bad those sensors are fragile when changing an intake if you touch the sensor with your finger it can mess it up. Pull the code and see what it is 🤷🏻♂️
There is one part missing from the intake kit that doesn’t feed the O2 sensor properly

2018 I think they started putting it in the 2017 if not definitely the 2018
