I will never sell my 09 Monster 1100 and hopefully I will own a 900SS soon as well! I believe all the air cooled Ducatis are going to be collectable, as I have had offers on my M1100 well over the price I paid for it three years ago.
Nice bike, a little bit expensive. I think that if you want a good bike without electronics you can go with the KTM RC8R, it's a twin, good looking and not that expensive.

At least bikes are actually getting lighter BUT FUCK DAMN NO YAMAHA WILL COME CLOSE TO 140KG 115HP IN LIKE THE NEXT 20+ YEARS like i have ridden a 120ish kg hyosung 125cc enduro and a 160ish kg cagiva river 500cc: sure the cagiva has pleasent acceleration But DAMN THE HYOSUNG WAS SO ALIVE AND LOVED TO LEAN JUST FUCK WEIGHT (prolly geometry helped a bit as well tho) I even feel it with mountain bikes like sure big full suspension stuff rides smooth and stable BUT SHIT FCKING DAMN IT MY 13KG HARDTAIL DIRT JUMPER JUST JIZZES ALL OVER ITS SPOKES WHEN I LEAN IT IN THE FASTER CORNERS ITS PURE SEX OH BUT FLICKING IT IN CHICANES FUUUCK ITS OTHER WORLDLY EVERY FUCKING TIME I DO IT I STOP WANTING ANY MOTORCYCLE LOL seriously i just microjizz every time i snap flick it to the other side TO THE Point of momentary understeer in the very begining of the flick (i mean going full lean to full opposite lean ofcourse and in the beginning I snap-countersteer so hard that I get serious tyre screeching. You know how it works like im leaned so hard that im near the limit of grip etc... yeah yeah slow is smooth and smooth is fast but fuck that I know I wont die on a bycicle so ill fucking keep pushing it hard for thrills). Makes me feel so alive! Such control, the machine (still talking bout me dirt jumper..) almost disapears and leaves me directly connected to the road (yes road I use a dirtjumper for town Im actually terrified of jumping fuck that lol). Anyways I remember rambling the same dirtjumper leaning story to my mom and somehow she failed to see the thrill of it :D so here I am rambling it to you guyz coz I know you will understand xD Anywayz great videos, love how yous guyz focus on the handling of bikes and the way you analize it.
you could deck out a salvaged r6 for far less $8k usd and look better, with higher quality bike and component s ,have more hp within the same weight by about 25 lbs for far less without all the cost and ugly franken look .
At my skill level, the perfect track bike is the one I don't care about slinging into the gravel :)
