- This was at Galaxy Con Columbus Ohio, which is the first time Galaxy Con went to Columbus Ohio, I went to and had to share this, because I thought his reaction to my question was hilarious and unexpected and I haven't seen many post on the panel yet and i did try to search for a video on the panel, so I guess I'm the first to upload anything from the panel, wish I recorded it longer, but I'm sure other will show there's at some point, hope you guys find this as funny as I did 😹.

I think Roger's inner Sonamy fan said the "but she's mine" before he quickly realized that Sonic legally isn't allowed to have a love interest anymore
He can just. He just can't have a girlfriend because it's not in his character. They have mutual feelings and he's too shy to admit it that's the premise
@@Rin_skiii I think the idea of Sonic being "too shy" is only the case for the Sonic Boom canon, in the games he shows little to no romantic interest in Amy until after Forces (in the IDW comics) where he mostly just teases her, until Frontiers where he regrets teasing her instead of actually making up his mind. This probably has very little relevance to what you just said, but I just wanted an excuse to share it... (I'm sorry 😔)

I love how Knuckle's VA was super supportive of Sonamy being canon plus Knuckles and Tails would *SO* play matchmaker with Sonic and Amy.

Its actually not Knuckles VA lol, it's one of the Q&A panel hosts, I didn't realize how much he sounded like him though lol

I love the fact that he doesn’t hide the fact he’s a sonamy fan. As much as a love Jason Griffith as Sonic’s voice, Roger has shown sonic to have more personality with Twitter takeover panels etc. I still can’t believe this is real!!! Props to you for asking you’ve just made a Sonamy fan really happy 😁
Honestly, I was probably just being rude about my staunch absoluteness of having jason griffith be the only voice actor in the past. The sonic games are videogames they're not asmr. There's more to a game than just the specifics of one actors voice. (This is not a criticism of anyone except ones who hate roger)

Keep in mind that this was just a “What if” scenario. So that’s why he pointed out it wasn’t canon. But I can see Sonic actually doing this since he does see Amy as his girl given Frontiers and countless hints. So I think Sonic being like this is canon but the scenario they did isn’t canon.

@@exetfod The it is now was a joke? Ever heard of one? and it's been implied sure but lots of ships like Sonic x Knuckles, Sonic x Shadow, Sonic x Blaze, ect. Have been implied too but non of them, not even Sonamy would be canon just because of the fan service they do, Sega's regulations stop that from happening because they don't want any of the Sonic characters in a romantic relationship. So sorry not sorry, it's not canon and never will be, it's just fan service

Sega doesn't want any character to have romantic relationships so they don't have romantic relationships, you can love the ship and enjoy the content whether it's the fan service work or just fanon made work but don't claim it's canon when that's a lie

That was me, I was bringing up what happened between Amy and Shadow during the Sonic Twitter Takeover and asked on how Sonic would feel if Amy and Shadow started dating after that, I asked just to mess with him about it and got this response, which I didn't expect him to say
