A new scammer @garryhoe with your profile picture. I'm blocking him. Hope that helps. Thanks for pointing that out.
Have you ever considered doing a q and a? I’m curious how often you make it home? Also, how do you shop? You always seem so well stocked

You can't call yourself a trucker til you've been stranded somewhere along I-80 in Wyoming. Good work being prepared, and stay safe out there.
"If you aren't going fast enough to pass the other semi just wait." Thank you for saying this Alex. I spend a lot of time driving on I40 between Memphis and Little Rock. There will be at least 3 times a trip where two trucks are side-by-side for at least 5-10 miles. It's almost like they don't realize there are others of us that are on the roads working also.
Being familiar with the stretch of road you are talking about, I'm sure they realize it, but don't care. The speed limit for trucks there is also lower than the car limit. I think it is 75 vs 70 or 65.
I-40 Memphis to Little Rock is torture. There is plenty of traffic to three lane that entire stretch and trunks in two right lanes.
You seem much happier in the videos since you’ve joined GP! Glad to see you doing well.
Alex, Highway I80 is always bad in the winter due to snow, ice, and avalanches. During the spring you get high winds/tornadoes. If you have to drive that regularly, be warned. Back about 6 years when I started back trucking I actually saw an avalanche happen in my mirror and I hit the gas pedal, because my life depended on it! I think 2 or 3 trucks just got pushed right off the road into a ditches. You can believe me I'm not going back out there again! I don't worry any way I will do my North Carolina -Virginia or North Carolina-Florida. The Atlantic Coast is my favorite . Next week I have to team with my boss's son to go to Yankee Candle in Mass. Keep safe and WARM!
@ALEXTHETEUCKINGGUY not the real Alex 👆
@@AdamGbl95 `Yeah i know I'll get rid of that idiot again!
@Lil luxury Devil Shark crashed his computer before and I guess he didn't learn his lesson? Maybe he needs round 2?
@Lil luxury should I post his ip address?
@@JohnsgreenKenwortht post it i dare ya lol. Make him pay
It’s good that you pay attention to what you eat on the road. Be safe out there man this heavy part of the winter is almost over
The I80 through Wyoming during the winter is closed more than it's open. The 70 through Vail can be worse. I always thought WDOT should post when the road is open, not when it's closed :)
Live in Nebraska. Unfortunately we have horrible driver's in the country. Keep us posted, stay safe.
Alex: At least its warm in Dallas.
Me: *looks outside at all the ice*
LOL. I left Desoto the morning of the 31st for Sherman to pick up sunny delight going to New Braunfels and was having fun dodging four wheeler on the ice through Dallas.
Few 4 wheelers know or understand down time. Great video with hand on cooking in the truck. Also making extra meals to reheat when rolling down the road. Enjoy your trip and stay safe.
Wyoming is a beautiful state but it has too much high winds and black ice 😳. Stay safe out there, Alex!
Damn bro, I don't even cook like that in my own home! I have no excuses anymore! lol If you can cook like that in a truck, I can certainly do at least the same in my home. Congrats...you're not just a trucker, you're an inspiration for would be chefs like me. Keep on truckin'! I've really been enjoying your videos. And STAY SAFE out there! Hope I see you passing through the Dayton, Ohio area sometime!
When I finally started getting trucks with refrigerators I could eat healthier and dropped weight from 250 pounds to 210 and then down to 180 pounds. I also walked a half hour at least every other day. I think I've walked in every state east of the Mississippi and a few west of it. I'm now medically retired since 2018. Day before yesterday I made Turmeric Rice with okra and Pepsi Cola Chicken. The recipe calls for Coca-Cola but I'm a Pepsi fan.🤷🏼♂️
Alex, when you used your smart pass after you hit the pedal twice make sure you're going down a hill for momentum if you use that going up a hill your gonna burn fuel more just helping you with some tips , I also do stop at polit flying j and one 9 truck stops and be safe out there.
Hey Alex, I showed them backing and perfect parking, then I showed off a little. Cypress wants me for an instructor, they offered me like $80,000 for my first year! I told them nope I want Atlanta-Charolette dedicated and a green Kenworth T680 or I would walk. I told the guy if I make a call my rig would be here in 2 1/2 hours. I guess they want to negotiate more? I love driving I don't have the patients for teaching right now. What should I do? You had a video where the veteran trucker helped you out, I did something like that in (6 minutes) 4 moves including checking my clearances once.
i witnessed this at loves right before you enter cheyenne from i-25 (i work at amazon for a company that operates in cheyanne) and the loves truckstop was overloaded with semis because the roads were being closed, so many that truck drivers were parking on the on-ramps and off-ramps of the clustercluck of the overpass
That's pretty common
I'm just amazed that not every new truck does not come with a monster screen GPS in the dash.
Yes like cars
Oh Alex.. I cooked everything in my hot plate. I boiled eggs I mainly did rice dishes with hamburger meat and vegetables, soy sauce. I used a lot of paper towels to wipe out and then I would use dawn soap in a water bottle and it’s doable. I even had a portable toilet.
Alex thank you for sharing your ups and downs and especially the beauty on your travels. Stay safe on your travels.
Set you cruise and press + on cruise and it will add 3 more miles.. then double tap gas to get more +3 miles while in cruise.. i used to work for gp aswell.. you can go 71 mph in 15 min..
Glad to hear you say you clean the inside of your truck cab. All that cooking of meats in the cab yields oily vapors that will embed in everything, everywhere. Glad to hear you have a high regard for safety.
Do you carry a full set of chains? If not, don’t take I-70 in wintertime. Colorado scales will at times check that you carry chains.
When you said I-70 I just went "noooo" at my screen. I've driven I-70 going west through Denver and then going up through the mountains in a car and that sucked. And the drive down from the pass, in a car, was enough that I never want to do that again. Thinking of you doing that in a loaded truck just made me all sorts of anxious. When you first mentioned Nebraska to Salt Lake City I already got worried about you going that way, until it hit me you'd be on I-80 the whole way.
80 is bad, especially over Elk Mountain, but 70 is way worse for weather and closures
@@Rev1Kev so what’s the best way to go back east are to go west threw New Mexico maybe
I was thinking the same thing: NOOO: don't try to go on 70 if 80's closed.
Thanks for the video. For some reason driving is very relaxing to me.
I love the big weather disaster storm videos. The cooking is ok to watch but I would love to see more of the storm. Maybe even interview some random truckers you pass and see what all they have to say. I love your vids. Do not get me wrong. Love Ecuador too!
Wish more truckers had your attitude
Enjoyed
Hey Alex, I was watching on of your other videos and you said you couldn’t figure out how to turn on your fog lights. The turn switch that turns your lights on, when you have your headlights on, pull that knob out just a little bit and they’ll turn on
Ecuador is a beautiful Country similar to Columbia but yes very economical to live there. The produce blows the doors off on American produce. Plus the currency is the American dollar. Don't bring $100's because the vendors cannot break a $100 bill. Safe travels Alex.
Good morning Alex! Love your channel. For real dude. You are the real deal
Very important truck advice. Helpful video, many many thanks, my friend.
I sat in Green River Wyoming 50 hours over the weekend waiting for 80 to open. Don't wait. Go down to 70. It doesn't close. Earlier this year 80 was closed for six consecutive days. 45 miles an hour is a breeze. 75 mph is high wind for them. It will flip an empty trailer and blow the snow around, once again closing the road.
Hey Alex When I retire from trucking I want you to know that I have brought you a couple dozen subscribers. My way of handing you the ball. I brought you 53 people including 5 of my own names becareful in the world of trucking. John
You could get a 2x4 piece and use it to hold the bed up whenever you need to take out your cooking supplies !
like a pico de gallo , you could add precook shrimp cut in half and make a ceville since you add lime juice, buy the toast tortilla and top it up on the toastada,
i was just stuck out in wyoming on the 80 this week. was stuck from last thursday until this past monday. 4 ish days stuck not moving due to weather. it was soo boring and freezing cold.
Hi Alex
I might have a little Info for
You
I took my top bed and cut up 2 chep pallets and cut them to size in 3 separate pieces and stood the mattress up against the back wall and bolted 3 3 drawer plastic cabinets to the pallets and I keep all my stuff up top
Winter clothes
Extra blankets
Cooking supplies
And other things
My refrigerator is actually so tall it is right under the microwave cabinet
Alex I live an hour away from Dallas Texas
We have been below freezing for the last 4 days
It's ironic you said
Texas is warm hahaha
Love your videos bro
Sleeeper trucks appear to have this real cozy feel with all the amenities
Keep your dreams alive, Alex. One day, you'll get there!
Is been a week with GPTransco. My assigned tractor was blue, not anymore it now white. That's how dirty my tractor ATM. Be safe out there
How cow I've never been this early before. Good luck and godspeed out on the open road. The weather ain't no joke these days!
Once you receive 1 mil subs, you have to drive in India for a year and take everybody along.
A trip around the world looking at trucking in each country would be sick
@@EdgarStyles1234 like taking the British-French truck tunnel hehe
Not even worth it for a million 20 maybe
How do you drive to India when he is in the US
Bro that puss wont survive even in a manual truck, what are you talking about. Dude cant even change a wheel or a bulb. Hes a good youtuber but thats about it.
Snow strom for sure, Woke up this morning and it was -25 F out in Michigan
4 or 5 days?! Geez. I'm from a snow state, so I'm used to horrible weather.. still sucks
Everyday me & my grandma sit on the couch watching your videos I don’t know why but I love watching ur videos it’s so entertaining and you’re amazing!!
Stay safe and warm. God bless you. 🙏🙏🙏
That’s pretty rad that the company does daily weather checks………….
Everyday 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Safe travels and thanks for the accidental laugh
Bruh I cant believe you just washed your clothes with bodywash. Total guy move 😂😂😂😂
My favorite had always been bar soap and a tub LMAO 🤣
what about folding the top bed down and using it a shelf for all the cooking stuff. you could put one this like cargo net thingy's that people have in the cars trunk up to keep everything from sliding off
You do a good pre-trip inspection Alex, everyone should watch your videos!!
I-80 is at best a seasonal freeway. I run I-80 in the spring/summer/fall. Then I avoid it like the plague in winter. Out of the last 60 days (December), i-80 has been closed for at least 3 days every week.
Not worth going I-80 in the winter, I'll add 100-200 miles to my route to avoid it, if I can.
Good luck man.
alex you should get a small air fryer, you can cook anything inside one and it cooks quickly.
I drive local for FedEx in southern Al. I haven't worked all week because all the freight that moves through us is stopped because of the weather out west and up north.
I’m Ecuadorian , that salsa is the best !
Have you ever thought about getting an Insta pot?! it has all kinds of features that you can use in the truck!
Its 60s mid 80s all week in Florida. Worst we are getting is a little bit of rain
You forgot to check something. How about your clutch fan? How about your air tanks? What's your tire pressure?
I-70 through Colorado in winter would be a bad idea anyway, it goes right through the Rockies and you'd most likely be required to have chains
I love your passion and creativity for cooking 😃❤️
Yesterday, I pull up to a 4 lane highway that runs through the county, and I see a Variant truck with a US Express trailer sitting on the shoulder. My first thought was, "I wonder if that's Alex." Then I remembered you don't work for them anymore.
Great video Alex. You cook some great food too. Stay happy and be safe. Love you.
You better make sure that your Dispatch load you and your tipping to 77000 to 80,000 max.. I know I did when I was running last year. I’m local now.
The last few days in the DFW area as been rough man!
Truck safe. Be patient! Enjoy your channel.
Stay safe out there! Hello from Rhode Island!!
Ah...yes. good Ole wyoming as a trucker. Memories. This is why I'm running AZ-TX loop.
Parleese Canyon right as you enter SLC is really really bad when it snows. And Utah is Actually really good at cleaning the roads
It’s crazy bc i heard all kinds of crazy stuff going on. I been over here on the other side of the North Dakota corridor
I kind of enjoy this trucking experience ....this is awesome
Alex you should talk about or show us what you do on your downtime when you're inside the truck!
He’s making more in you tube than driving the truck 🎉🎉
I live and truck out west and the weather can be pretty wild. Always have to keep an eye on the radar and forecast. Sometimes you still might get caught out. I was on i80 this same day going to WY for a delivery.
My thinking is GP Transco scheduled that load for three days later that's why you have all that time on the load because I 80 going to be closed down so they basically trip planned for you
Lol I was just at the pilot on campstool Rd in Cheyenne two days ago. I delivered to the Lowe's DC.
Hi Alex, love your channel. My wife is Ecuadorean, we have a house in Cuenca that we will eventually retire to. Have you ever tried the delicacy called cuye? Look it up, you probably won't try it, lol. Be safe out there!
Utah is beautiful I love Salt Lake city. I've delivered several school buses to the dealers there. Nice air port
didn't realize its a one month gap bw the day of shoot and posting!
Omg I saw u in Cheyenne Wyoming I saw gp trans truck
Your dream life sounds great Alex, and good to see you cooking I like the meals. Keep Safe , Healthy and warm. 😊🙏✌
Hey Alex stay warm and be safe 👋🏾👋🏾👍🏾
I seriously think you would enjoy going to the Culinary Institute! I have a friend who went there and he has worked at Pebble Beach and other good jobs ever since
I have that very same microwave in my kitchen today. Works SUPER great.
Dallas is not immune from cold weather either
I joined the company! Just waiting for orientation on the 27th
I was only on my second day solo and drove highway 375 Indian turnpike roadway frozen over the other day.. luckily my trailer was empty. I was white knuckled. Choctaw nation Oklahoma is beautiful though
Keep warm and stay safe bro
I go to that truck stop all the time. I deliver to the Lowe's right down the road from it.
Did you stay in that spot until the 5th of January? If so I saw you haha
Hey Alex have you ever gone to Montana? If so is it beautiful? Cause I’m getting my CDL soon and in a few years I wanna live in Montana lol
-10 real feel -35 with the wind here in NH
Should vlog your Ecuador trip
He’s watering while explaining his dish😂😂😂😂
I live up in Rapid City, SD just north of Nebraska! You must be on I-80 heading west!
Do you eat soup? It’s really good during the winter or cold weather for the digestion.
gosh I forgot to buy soup when I went shopping. I want to make some Vietnamese pho really bad
SLC is still going to be there. Early freight can be delivered, late freight can be delivered freight laying along the side of the interstate can't be delivered.
I ran out of drive time at that pilot u stopped at once, even parked at that same spot your in, u should've drove up to the TA closer to Cheyenne, they have better parking at least
Ur in a Safe Heaven Call ur driver Manager and do a 34 reset.
You can do it man, just find you the right person to do it with...and you are very organize, and trust in the lord...
You’ll build more confidence to drive on snow eventually it takes time
This guy cooked a meal from scratch with some plantains in the cab of his truck! Holy cow!
If nothing else (and there's lots of else) you demonstrate the ways to adapt to eating on the road...in your own truck...and eating well. You've got the right 'tools' to do it well, and show how to do it well...now I'm hungry...lol.
Alex I love your videos soo much. Keep lashing us with more and more and more
