My grandfather told me that what he loves about Star Wars is the theme of always having hope when it come to good vs evil

He based a lot of it on Joseph Campbell's work The Hero's Journey and also a lot of the mythologies of the Far East.

I wish I knew why George Lucas turned to the dark side and sold an epic philosophical and psychological masterpiece to Disney to make very bad children's movies out of it (although he already was a millionaire back then)
You could look up his interviews where he said why explicitly. Or you can grow up.
@@jeffreymeehan3116 saw his Interviews made no sense. Only grown ups don't believe the hype but can see what truly drives someone... greed is a way to the dark side I have heard. Also all to easily believing narratives might be one if we look at Anakin. May the force lead you to real knowledge and wisdom even if you are not a chosen one
