@@AshwinT24 yesterday, on very rough road an XUV300 was moving at around 60-70kmph. I overtook that and drove at around 130-140kmph.
That was rough and somewhat broken road. It was pretty easy to brake also and it was easy to drive at that speed and it was comfortable drive.
I was alone else the passanger would have got threatened due to the road condition and the speed it was attaining at that bad road.
It was pleasing experience.
The capability is not limited to what you experience at first drive. Rather, it will let you experience something unexpected

Completed 31K on this car in the last 27 months. Driven across south India through all sorts of conditions. Excellent car. Class and quality. Owning a Honda is a special thing. The base variant is absolute value for money ❤

(A Ford diesel head like me is sorely missing Ecosports and Fiesta these days.)
From my personal experience, hands down City in petrol manual avatar has the most soulful engine. It may not be the fastest anymore when compared some of the turbo engine these days, but the way this engine sounds and pulls is just something else. Apart from VW/Skoda twins, there are hardly any cars in this segment which is as addictive to drive as this.
City is worth it for the engine alone.

I have reccomended my friend the 4th Gen Honda city V model seems more value for money 💰 still on sale
This is the best car (base variant and u can add faux leather seats, cabin low lamps etc for marginally additional price) if u don't want a Nexon xuv300 (better only for heavy highway driving). It's far better than slavia or virtues given the price point....
And what about safety and power
Volkswagen virtus is best in segment with faar faar good looks and interior is very luxurious
City screen looks like after market with 9 inch

@@raghavaggarwal7624 As per reports there are no facelifts or no new models. Honda City 5th Gen is still continuing. Because they are focusing on new model of WR-V.
Update : Face-lift has been launching with minor changes and updated features and expensive by 1 lakh for V, VX and ZX and SV variant is launching as base variant

They need to bring a new Base variant because the 4th gen city which was sold all this time is going to be put out of production in favour of new creta rival. They need to bring the S variant or SV variant which 3rd or 4th gen city used to have as base variant because the 4th gen was aiding the city 5th gen all this time which helped it win competition against virtus and Slavia all this time. Give it slightly less features like steel wheels, no Android auto in touch screen infotainment screen but there should be a reverse parking camera since its a big car , less chrome, no cruise control, Analogue speedometer and tachometer etc. Just price it under 10.5 lakhs and it will sell like crazy just like the skoda Rapid Rider and Rider plus variant used to sell at the price of compact sedans and suvs few years back 😜. Honda needs to do it.
Why are the door handles black in colour mine is 2021 model and I got chrome handle on the inside
New version don't get them I'm supposed to get delivered tomorrow and they also don't have them ( Mine is nov manufacturing model )

@@KevalKumar96 , nahi aesa nahi hai. Dono hi apni jagah me acche hain. Quality wise 5th gen me improvement hua hai interior and exterior quality me. Kyunki 4th gen ki aadat ho chuki thi sabko, isliye beginning me sabko odd laga tha. 4th gen was sporty + premium from interior and exterior design that is why it has sharp edges, more cuts and creases. 5th gen is more of a class and luxury design, that is why it is more of round design and simplistic design. But quality is better now for sure.

Sharp cut lete time pe bhi 5th gen, rear seat pe left-right movement jyada hone se rokti hai, center arm rest ka support lena nahi padta hai. Lekin 4th gen me cut maarte time rear seat walo ko center arm rest ka support ka bahut jarurat padta hai. Bahut sara chij hai, jisko type karun to pura review ban jaega..
Aur 2nd gear me 5th gen me 108 ki speed attain kar sakte ho, jo 4th gen me nahi kar sakte. 5th gen me 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th gear me high speed and/or adrenaline rush enjoy kar sakte ho. Aur mileage ke liye bhi inn gears ke sath 5th & 6th gear ko use kar sakte ho, 4th gen me 5 gears hi hai, 4th gen me bhi ivtech enjoy karoge lekin 5th gen jaisa superior flexibility nahi milega.
Aur ye sab own karke hi feel kiya ja sakta hai, review videos me to sirf common cheejen bataenge, lekin asli baaten to koi owner hi samajh sakega.

Sedan era is now down. City is overpriced as its not having turbo petrol engine.Base model Rs 1.2 lakh, V model Rs 1.6 lakh and VX models Rs 2.1 lakh OVER PRICED.
No improvement in ground clearance. Still one has to replace splash guard frequently.

@@incognito_guy_0187 Not sure about the question but for Honda cars there's changes in features, look n engines when the generation of car changes. Now in 2023 there's 5th generation of Honda city is floated in market & tons of changes are there when you compare with 4th generation Honda city, 4th generation model was available till November 22 now discontinued.

Honda City base variant is actually the best equipped variant in any car..
V variant used to come with chrome door handles but honda removed it as a cost cutting like what other car companies are doing like replacing 10 inch touchscreen with 8 inch skoda, mahindra removed multiple safety features from Xuv300 etc

Honda would have easily removed all safety features they r giving in this base variant but they didn't..they know the value of safety features that's why they are giving 4 Airbags, ESP 3 point seatbelts for all passengers,tpms,hill hold,brake assist,agile handling assist etc all top model safety features from base variant now tell me which manufacturer is giving the same? Nobody
So stop complaining on small things are dont cry like small kid on chrom door handles..
