Suggestion: It can be hard to beep out Opie's laugh, but maybe there is a way you could put Beavis' or Buttheads's laugh. I think a Butthead laugh would work better, but Opie is more of an invasive, non self-aware dummy, and that's more like Beavis.

@@introspectah cool comment! I guess it would essentially amount to observing the thought. So it might be like hearing someone else “thinking out loud” instead of your own sentences, or like seeing a movie clip instead of intentionally building a scenario in the mind.
But is the perception of ones own intentions the thing that differentiates thought from non-thought? Upon further examination the appearance and proliferation of verbal thought occurs without intention, day dreams appear all on their own and can be the source of many great ideas despite being disconnected from intentions most of the time. furthermore one may act without awareness of their own intentions.
