14:14 sub 3 minute mission - Hry
That big whole is awfully worm shaped... not to sound treasonous or anything
As written..... or something
so are you :)
@@Spectre-907Lisan Al Gaib
You can actually fall down them and glitch through the ground seeing worm stuff, at least when I did I got lost in this chitinous body
Bless the Democracy and Its liberty
Bless the coming and freeing of It
May Its passage liberate the world
May It keep the world for Its voters
It would be funny if it was the exact opposite of the original TCS mission where the bugs kept frantically hitting the buttons to keep the towers going 🤣
I be laughing my ass off, what if we got super intelligent bugs as well lmao
There's just a charger sitting there clumsily mashing at a terminal, sweat pouring down his face while we wreak havoc
"How do YOU like it??"
tfw you change your grenade pistol and forgot to bring a way to close holes
Happens to me all the time
Happened to me the other day because I swapped off grenade pistol and left stun grenades on accident from fighting bots. I felt so useless all of a sudden.
I was in a mission where I fought to a bug hole with a teammate and we just stoos there staring at it, then looking at each other, then back at the hole.
Make sure you check your loadout.
Or I'll forget to change off of an armor pen weapon and drop with another anti armor stratigem.
As a last resort you can close them with drop pods :D
I was getting sorta bored with the big ass open world maps that take forty minutes to complete, so a blitz mission like this is welcome. Glad to see they’re doing more of them, and such fun ones too! First the high value asset evac, and now corrupted TCS towers
Ironically, I love the big open maps so much, for a similar reason that I like the crazy heavy refinery maps in Deep Rock Galactic.
@@Aflay1 they’re cool in some ways, and many planets look great. However, clearing them out, even on low levels, can take you almost the full mission time, and that’s without taking into account the backtracking and numerous deaths. I also prefer having a small map if I can’t see jack shit cause of the weather effects. The TCS map size is ideal in my opinion, not quite as big as icbm maps and not quite as small as eradicate maps
franklky imo what this game needs isnt more weapons or stratagems, its more mission types and a greater variety of objectives
What would be in those mutated eggs?
- Impaler
- Improved Berserker Charger
- Giant Worms
Please, not the Impaler :^)
interesting, they do say mutated, so we could actually potentially get a new enemy after this order is done.
TCS resistant bugs.
Flying hunters
@@asraarradon4115 they all seem resistant now considering you're fighting them right next to the active towers
Although it is a recycled map and is quite easy, the one with the best atmosphere makes the biggest difference. It looks like something out of Alien and Dead Space
honestly for how different the terain and vibe is, calling it a recycled map is almost an insult but i get what you mean, its amazing
Calling it recycled is a bit disingenuous, more like reimagined
The Dominator handles like a god damn refrigerator in your hands, though it hits the enemies like one too
Hehe love that description, spot on!
*Long, awkward walk towards camera*
"I love refrigerators...!"
a thumbnail would be smart to add here
XD Nahhhh not needed surely 😅
Nope
pls tell us how you have basicly 0 enemies here cuz when i play on diff 7 or something lower even i have at least 3 times more enemies i just dont understand bro
you scare them or something xD
what about here?
This mission is awfully easy. Suspiciously, even.
After some CBT on the bot front (I usually prefer bots), I found it refreshing
Don't worry, there is no way anything would backfire on us, never forget ministry of truth got your back in any circumstances.
There totally aren't any giant mutated bugs hidden away under the map! 😊
To be fair being able to shoot a spore spewer from across the map with a primary was a bit broken
Exactly how tough should a mushroom be?
@@rhetro777 How tough a bug should be (*cough* Bile Titan)?
Not when the gun is ass at everything else
I played a few thousand hours on Helldivers 1. The tank's forward facing cannon was by no means a turret with only around a 20 degree aiming range, which forced the two on board to work together to hit targets. The cannon and HMG fired just like the current Patriot. The gunner entered the rear hatch, while the driver entered front. Almost all vehicles and walkers had an armor reading around 70%, followed by a 30% burn down timer where Divers needed to bail, before the unit exploded. Hellbombs and several attacks from Illuminates outright destroyed the unit and killed the Diver, much like our current Patriot. Perhaps future ship modules will allow for upgrades. All three walker mechs in HD1 had Stratagem ports where you could do a generic throw for anything, while all four vehicles required a Diver to exit, to be able to toss anything. The current Patriot has a notch where that port fire might be located in the future. There were four vehicles in HD1. Divers had to use caution when exiting while the vehicle was in motion. The motorcycle and side car had a MG but no armor. The other three ATVs had three gunner slots with a mix of AC, tank turret and MGs. I avoided them for the most part since driving off of cliffs or into mine fields would wipe the squad. There was zero reason to be in any vehicle vs Illuminates since they had multiple ways to one shot anything. The Displacer will be interesting in HD2.
Things i want to come back from helldivers 1:
Tank
Cannon/flamethrower mech
Bike
This post was made by bike titan gang..?
I feel like you’re probably talking about like a motorbike, but the idea of peddling furiously through automaton fire and artillery is fucking hilarious.
BIKE PATROOOOL!!!!
@@z34567890123456 tbf the helldivers 1 hitlercycle was pretty hillarious on its own. It was basically one of those old-timey motorcycles with a sidecar, except that said sidecar was covered and spikes and had a front-facing machinegun.
The tank was actually kinda awful, though; its 'turret' could only swivel within a 45 degree cone on the front, meaning that aiming was mostly the driver's job. It could be funny as a meme, but the APC with the cannon turret was pretty much better in every way.
idk what these devs are doing but in my first game today i took the plasma punisher and the shield backpack. plasma punisher explodes INSIDE ur personal shield if u aim up which is a hilarious oversight. After I died my teammates were unable to reinforce me for the entirety of the match due to some other glitch. I was the host. whenever anyone else was killed they could be reinforced meanwhile I stayed dead.
Reinforcement glitch has been around awhile. Thanks for the science as a plasma punisher main
@@ThatOliveMrT i tested the plasma punisher today, it needs larger AoE, a bit more damage and 2 more shots per mag to be viable, i want to main this weapon so bad :(
Skill issue?
An issue regarding skill.
I noticed the hunters were WAY less aggro
Why didn't they mention this!? They are the main source of my pain and suffering!
@@quikonesonbecause AH loves to hide 90% of the actual patch notes from the players.
Maybe it's just this map's pathfinding issues? Sure they can walk on steep surfaces and jump through gaps, but sometimes it's the geometry that meks mobs behave weird.
They shredded me in two level 9 40 min missions, maybe its just me but i didn't feel lots of changes to hunters
Yea I noticed it right away jump less often and they actually missed a bunch of jump shots on me which was weird to see happen
Wow new mission. I definitely want to see super destroyer crashed missions.
I hadn’t even thought of that. Sounds cool
I could see that being a good bot mission.
Prevent the bots from capturing our technology so we gotta overload the core or something
Mission variety is nice but I do wish most missions have an impact on the rest of the campaign. Like taking out bot airfields add more time for bot drops on the next missions.
These missions are cool, and dont need to be crazy. It's basically a limited time mission. Its nice when limited time stuff can be reused again and varied.
And lore wise it makes sense to be so simple, go in, turn off machine, no silly nonsensical waiting to power down or nothing.
You can tell this is a "we fucked up, get in and get out" mission simply by the fact that Pelican 1 does not wait to get you. He's there immediately laying down fire until you guys get to the LZ.
spore spewers take 2 ATs now like Shrieker nests
Of course they made them harder to kill... when will they change the hp for the illegal broadcast tower and the lab?!
I was easily sniping them with the JAR5 so that’s a needed change
@@meodracI disagree. Having your visibility tanked so hard isn't fun.
@@applejhon8308 they were one of the most mundane side objectives though. next to terminate illegal broadcast.
@@MEGABUMSTENCH Yes and that was fine. Not every side objective needs to be some major chore. Especially if they're annoying.
0 kills helldive mission is crazy
this mission so much fun. It just feels like you're constantly in action fighting bugs and unlike say defense or eradicate missions, youre not just sitting in one area. You do have to run around and do stuff.
That guy is the reason why i take my time to read mission description and news on battlefield
the tank from the first helldivers was my favorite thing ever, cant wait for it to be added to this one
the additional exp gain was probably time bonus, given how respawning takes like eight or nine seconds plus time reaquiring gear before then sorting out which direction you need to go again, so maybe 15-20s per death.
I really think that a squad of 4 could get this down to sub 2 minutes and we'd really see exp gains. I'm already thinking of going duo on this mission and speed running it to finish off the warbonds that I still need to do.
I like that the only fomo is the campaign "story" as it evolves
>:(
*turns music back on*
*holsters Senator contentedly*
why you not streaming! i wanna see you're tests on the new changes!
The armor buff on the spore towers made the dominator unable to trivialize them. It was one of the op shit about the jar5
The audible "Wuut" that came out of my mouth when I heard "I got new balls". You would think I had farted in a courtroom with the looks I got.
a note for this eggs, if drop in the middle of the egg with the hellpod, youll be stuck inside the soil its attached to.
I managed to get out by diving away from the surface and into the void, then I bubbled up at some point xD
Congrats on the new bowls!
My current prediction, IF they end up doing some form of that 2 player bomb mission, is that they would use it for when they eventually send us back to meridia to reclaim it. it would be the most badass mission to drop onto a terminid super structure, carry in a bomb, arm it, and then get out. Bonus points if they make us fight whatever those mutated eggs become later
Oh god. I've only just found out from this video that you can change your equipment and weapons loadout while in the drop pod as opposed to running back to the equipment wall...
Shhh, dont say anything good about the mission type or else Arrowhead will nerf it
They don't need us to say anything, if it's fun and we play it too much it gets nerfed.
Had variation where the mission was supposed to have 3 super rare samples (difficulty 7). But we didn't find the rock.
Chargers will only be affect by Slow effects if not charging as they enter.
You get more ex the faster you beat a mission, so the last time once you got it figured out you got an extra 75 xp so the faster you do it the more xp you get
What do y’all think will come out of those eggs if we fail? (Looking very tangible of you take a look at the liberation rates)
Judging by the size, they might be bile titan or charger eggs, but hive lords are a possibility. I’ve been seeing a lot more of their shedded exoskeletons on bug planets lately…
we can't not fail. meridia fell in advance and the TCS is running perfectly fine there
@@wyn9693 We don’t have supply lines into Meridia. Erata and Turing are a lost cause and Fenrir III is a stalemate with almost 100k players on there. We’re set up to fail, and once we do, the order runs out and the bugs launch attacks on other sectors, the hive lords pop up on Terminid worlds
@@KsnypsAdventures looking at the MO a few hours later it's pretty clear we aren't failing this one. However I doubt we can take meridia once its lines open, given it's whole "unsalvageable" thing that changed the entire planet's environment and covered it in an orange mist
@@KsnypsAdventures the plot thiccens
I just finished a 14 hour session of farming Helldive Termicide Towers and hit Lv150 and got the title Super Private. I can finally play the game now but instead of sleeping here I am on youtube watching more content.
Hell Yeah, this mission looking nice
But I can't, for the life of me, walk past a bug hole without closing it x)
And congratulations on the new *bowls* , mate!
replacing the spore spewers with shrieker nests makes a lot more sense for the difficulty of this mission.
Love your videos. Very informative!
Barrages would probably be incredible for this mission.
Support and supply drops go straight through and into the ground and become inaccessible on some parts of these maps. They are the slanted ground areas, kind of like what you can see in 12:30
And the drop pods are bugged again like how he can't control his drop at 6:29. Happened to me as well.
Same thing happened on the ramps to the control panels last time, you just fall through.
The tank destroyer in hell divers 1 was amazing fun. We'd have everyone bring it so we could call down another once one ran out of ammo. I'd run the repair gun and a jumppack to keep the tank topped off. Could literally steamroll any content. Until you ran out of tanks >.>
The spore towers were always comically easy to destroy honestly. I’m glad they have a structure level armor
There's a chance you can spawn on a mission that has super samples on the higher diffculties. Its not consistent sadly, but its an easy way to farm supers solo and xp.
Yeah it seems they made spore spewers have the same structure as the shrieker nests now. No more mag dumping from miles away.
Laser cannon jump pack is insane for the new TCS missions
Jar is explosion. Egg's likely take more damage from them so that's why the senator ends up taking more shots
Ahh, yes. The egregious JAR-5 gameplay.
He got new bowlz! This mission looks amazing, time to grind some sweet, sweet exp!
Id love to see more specialty missions, even if theyre not the best like the one to set these up.
Time finished also attributes to xp gain. Faster = more xp.
Do you record with or without HDR on?
It did have samples before but just common though
they did have samples before
my issue with the patch wasnt even the nerfs so much as the tiny buffs lol, other than a few. So many useless weapons got tiny buffs, some are pretty much placebo.
so i assume they are going to eventually bring back the termicide tower missions, because, you know, termicide causes explosive growth in terminid reproduction, which means it's a great way to farm even more e710
even the spore spewer on other mission take more power. it take 6 or 7 shot of AC. usually it's like 1 or 2 shot I think.
The hunters are drunk.
The tank in the last game felt amazing, only 2 things or so per faction could hurt it... but most of the time it died because the gunner shot the explosive cannon point-blank causing a self-kill in true Helldiver fashion!
i did this mission and it had 3 pink samples too - less than 5 minutes in mission, its pretty good farm
where were the samples?
@@OhDough right on the far edge of the map on the normal rock that has them (west in my case but should be random)
Hmmm…it looks we might get new bugs to crush…since it is mutated eggs…
I just solo’ed one of these on level 7 and it was literally one of the easiest things I’ve done on this game *chefs kiss*
I think this mission is purposefully easy and quick, but once we reach Meridia this is where crap hits the fan, because this is where the outbreak of Terminids is out of control
he did in fact, got sum new bawls
Is there map variation? I've done it once and notice it could be a fun map for the jumppack with all the vertical variations
Joel is trying to divert attention from Chort bay and Choohe. If we take those two planets, automatons are defeated in the west.
I swear to god we needed those anti-tank mines!
@@D3adCl0wn nah, we'll be fine
Underground objectives would be cool. Not a whole mission though.
I ran one earlier and besides the 10 green samples there were also the 6 purple
Great vid as always dough
Are they’re super samples in the mission because I keep seeing them too right when I hit tab?
Old mate came into a bug mission with a bot loadout 😂
Spore spewers need to trigger hellbomb calldowns if they are gonna be this strong
Headshot dmg redused for armor or for helmets of that armor?
Nice bowls, dood
I think the reason this mission is this easy is because its essentially a storytelling piece rather than a mission, they want people to play these because the Termicide Towers are going to be a focus point for changes and they do not want people to be clueless "Why did this happen all of a sudden!?"
When I do this mission with randoms, no one knows what they're doing so I have to solo 80% of the thing and even I'm getting it done in like 4 minutes
Anyone else clipped inside terrain when drop pod landing on a rocky hill?
Happened twice in a match last night.
My Quasar 😭😭😭😭😭 bruh
It's still fine. You notice the 5 seconds, but it's not that big of a deal. No backpack slot taken up by rocket ammo. No need to stop moving for a reload animation. No need to wait 70 seconds for a stratagem cooldown to get 2 shots. It needed some kind of downside.
@@asraarradon4115 it's not but DAMN those 5 seconds come into play at times 😭
@@Leon.S.Kennedy.SG-09 That is exactly the point. great sustained power, but worse burst output compared to the others
@@Leon.S.Kennedy.SG-09 It's still goated on extraction where you can have 2-3 total lying around!
Can't wait to try this new mission.
OhDough experiment -
Eagle Strafing Run vs the Deactivate Termanid Control System mission type.
This stupid strategem finally has a niche, and it's really good there. Not because of buffs or whatever, it's just ideal for the narrow passages of this mission type and busts the objective eggs.
Give this underused strategem a try in its ideal environment and see what you think.
Love your content doughboy!
Nice bowls, big and round.
I've been capped on medals for three weeks. I might just take a break until the next warbond in a couple of weeks.
Next warbond is next week no?
@@OhDough If they stick to the initial plan of a release on the second Thursday of each month. Datamines are already coming out of the new pack so it will be soon either way.
Bout a week and a half
Considering the last warbond and how bad that was... don't hold your breath man.
@@hawk9mm We can expect one good gun that will get nerfed within a month and a few armors to never wear probably lol. I get more excited about having some new capes
Oh no.
Another mission that will get farmed whenever I join someone else
jetpack is insane for this mission
I mean, take a sec to kill some bugs? Idk 😂
Armor over 100 protects head now
You can also get super samples on those
which map/level?
The flame shotgun got nerfed by slower fire rate along woth fore damage nerf.
Had a Termicide Towers mission just now on Suicide that had super samples, according to the UI. Not sure if it actually had them because someone entered the Pelican while we were searching, can anyone confirm?
we walked all over the map, no super samples. Suicide level aswell. Seeing you had the same experience and there are non on helldive difficulty, this may be a bug.
Bro you missed the first quasar shot on the spores
first thing I thought when I played it
Finally... they are coming
They are missing the point with the quasar. No matter how hard they nerf it I'll still bring it or the EAT. Shield pack is just required on high diff mission with lots of encounters, and heavy armor can't replace that. So that just leave quasar or EAT. Yes, you can bring AC on bots, but without 1 or 2 guys having the shield the AC is too vulnerable. Especially when queueing with randoms.
I honestly kinda wanna fail to see how the bugs evolve
what armor set does he have?
Anyone else not seeing the difference for the “buffed” Railgun?
It was only a buff to armor pen so it’s not much of a change
which armor is that???
Nice bowl.
