My 2012 Fusion Sport was the perfect replacement for my 1995 SH.O., the S.H.O. is faster but the Sport is quicker

Yeah, especially compared to its Taurus predecessor.

Most of the reviews for this car praise how well it handled. Better then it’s competition

It saw a large refresh for 2010 but this is still considered the first gen

Its still first gen only differences is a slight update to front and rear other than that same as the 2006 to 2009 exactly! Same body/ frame ECT. Honestly Ford went back to the roots with this first gen Fusion taking styling hues from the original 85 to 91 Tauruses that were huge hits then. This style Fusion reminds me of that Taurus alot

There was one more model that I own that was called a SPORT aka BABY SHO. had a more powerful engine that had closer to 300HP called the Cyclone which was more compared to a V8 as well as a special body trims low profile racing tires on special exclusive 18 inch mustang styled wheels front end and rear bumpers with bigger dual exhausts and spoiler with moonroof with Sony 6 disk changer. These are rare only made 2010 to 2012 for first gen SPORT. Ford brought the SPORT model back in the second gen in 2017 to 2020. Also rare

This is one of Ford's Biggest Failures. I own one and have had to have the steering replaced twice per a recall, which Ford refused to pay for the recall and charged me $2400 the first time and then 10 weeks later had to replace the steering again. AC Units have been replaced twice and the car is a 2011. The steering/ suspensions and AC units are complete failures. 2012 is suppose to be a better built Ford Fusion. This car FORD FUSION 2011 is a failure!
