For the house, if you build it in survival you will need 3 doors, 313 stone, 42 glass, 5 stairs, and 108 wooden plank's (Your Welcome 😊)

I did this on surivial with two types of wood spruce and oak and it turned out pretty good since stone isn't an easy resource to use considering the fact you have to smelt it. If you would like it it to be bigger make it 20x20 and follow the same steps but obviously instead of placing a block on 5 on the left side make it by ten. You can make the house how big you won't example... 40x40 60x60 80x80 but obviously you would have to be on survival for those

Me and my grandparents have a farm in Utah. We have loads of cattle,a few geese and chickens and we have 3 dogs named Mocha, Brownie and Ranch. I also have my very own horse and her name is Magic . We used to have bunnies but they ran away . I live with my grandparents in Utah but I am Malaysian

This was the first thing I built on the first world I ever created on Minecraft Xbox 360. I built things that filled up the world surrounding this house. I called the world “house” and today, June 20th, 2019, I made a new world on the current version of Minecraft called “house 2.0” and This is the first thing I built. This house alone triggers hundreds of memories of happiness on Minecraft. And for that I’d like to thank you.

I've always been coming back to this design almost every time I start a new survival world, at this point I've been using it for years, I find it to be a cool, modern type design and I think it is perfect for starting out with.

instead of playing console minecraft, actually pay for and play pc minecraft
i prefer console over pc, much easier to build with a controller, and no lag. the only downside is less mods, but it dont bother me much. and playing on a large flatscreen tv is always a plus.
***** I have no idea what you are talking about i play PC Minecraft on my 60 inch flatscreen all the time, i also have no lag, especially the fact that i have tons and tons of mods installed. Actually the controls on the Console Minecraft are so much stiffer then PC Minecraft.

Solution: Use cobblestone instead of stone, and for the balcony, use wooden fences instead of glass.
