The original was by The Swinging Blue Jeans in 1963. I like this cover. I covered it with my own band twenty five years ago. One of those great memorable songs that get forgotten.

I deeply believe I'm echoing what just about anyone listening feels, when I again praise your work... all of you. And to Kat, I've really seen a wonderful growth in your performances over the past couple years. There are 'cover bands' and there are but a few, if not only HSCC, that are better called an 'Enveloping Band'... because when one listens, digests and then just enjoys your music, at least for me, it's like being enveloped in truly great soul-deep vibrations. I've heard all those songs over the years, but I never really HEARD them like I do now. And honestly I don't remember ever replaying the same music so many times. I might have done it as a teenager in the 60s. But now, when I take a break from my office (at home), I'll often sit in the den and watch the big screen with the surround comfortably loud... again listening through your online catalog.
Linda Ronstadt will be very proud of this great version, good job !!!

I sent this to my old friend George Massenburg, who recorded a whole bunch of albums with Linda back in the day. He said he listened to the whole thing and the singer sounds great. Knowing George, he doesn't easily give compliments, and there's no way to make him even sit and listen to a whole song unless it's good.

Wow what a performance. Kats vocals terrific and great playing from the whole band. Nice to see the drummer (forget his name) getting in the centre for a change. Fantastic drummer but the poor chaps usually stuck in the back corner somewhere. Great singer too.
