    Lovely Rare iconic footage of British Rail,Fabulous looking Locomotive pulled trains over 50 years ago ❤️ ,Great video before I was born in July of 1973 ,This is amazing footage of back in the day ❤️

    I live in Stockport but used to go spotting to London in the early 70s, still got my notebooks from those visits, happy memories, thanks for sharing!

    Warship on the up West of England 9 coaches including buffet car today a 4 car DMU with a trolley service ....... thanks for posting happy days.

      p james and before that it was 12-15 coach steam locomotives.

    Excellent footage. Very similar to the scenes I saw 1970-1972 commuting between Waterloo and Ascot every weekend. Wasn't the blue emu livery awful.

    4 CORs, a Warship on an up Exeter express - and a Class 74. They must be pretty rare on film.

    Cannot be any earlier than 1968 when E6104 was built.

      Pre TOPS, 71's E5XXX numbers, electric only, with pantograph on roof. 74's E61XX numbers, EDs, no pantograph.
