My mom was a working mom, taking care of 3 kids with a deadbeat father. But she always looked so put up and pretty. She taught us that no matter what was going on in our lives, we should still look presentable. Something I carried, that even I was battling depression and anxiety, no one would notice because I look presentable all the time.
