Canning pinto beans has changed our life. I will never buy a can of Chile beans or refried beans again. They taste better, more economical, and have no preservatives. It's all due to Heather's videos and encouragement.
YES!! I agree on all counts! Thanks to Heather showing Me ❤️🤗 So inexpensive, and you know EVERYTHING that goes into your beans!!
Canned pinto beans saved us when my husband was injured at work and we had very little income. I learned how from my mother in law, but want to try the no soak method. We ate so many Navajo tacos. Now I also need to can chickpeas and black beans, as I use them quite often too, specially now that meat is so expensive.

Iodized salt is safe, it just turns the liquid cloudy. I make 1/2 pints of black beans because we use just a 1/2 can of store bought ones at a time. Saves on waste
Yes, it Is Safe! But does cloud the water. Have you made Black bean Hummus? DELICIOUS! 🤗❤️

So glad to see you doing this. My beans seemed a little cloudy. I guess they are okay. Used tap water.
I like to use filtered water in whatever I am preserving. Make certain to rinse beans a few times as well. 🤗❤️

My new canning neighbor was not aware that beans needed to be sorted and washed and you left that step out of your video! She had only ever eaten beans from a can!
I got my love of canning from my grandmother, whom we call Nana, and who has a birthday in a couple weeks. Debubbler ordered for the both of us. I don't have one, and hers already has her name on it. Haha Great video! Can't wait to try!!

How did I miss the premier 😢 My phone was right next to me. Love this video! This method is so much simpler than the official way! We do sort of similar here but said overnight in each jar with some vinegar to make them a little quieter to digest haha
