I haven't heard much from them live since their The Days of Grays tour. It's always interesting seeing how they change their setlists over time though. It's a shame they're leaving off so many albums from this setlist, but it also doesn't surprise me too much since they've just released a new album and are wanting to play a lot of those songs. Plus I'd rather them play what they enjoy rather than burning out and quitting altogether. I'm really glad to hear Whirlwind. It's easily my favorite song on their new album.
Very cool, in LA, see them every year, next week for us - tradition - all the albums great in their own right - solid fun to watch and this is so personal - thank you!
Love this raw live sound! One of the best! Tommy drums definitely the beast and dominating but still the bass guitar can filled it well with clarity and surely Henkka Keys and Ellias guitar works still on there eventough not as clearly as others ( i presumed this room square of the club is not too big)
But definitely the live shows is remarkable! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

Só eu notei que o Tony tava com muitos problemas em segurar a afinação nesse show? Deu umas desafinadas tensas na hora de soltar uma nota mais aguda e também perdeu o tempo de algumas músicas às vezes. O retorno dele devia estar um baita delay tbm
Que playlist mais fria e sem graça... O Sonata vem caindo muito de produção. Seu último ápice foi em "Stones Grow her name". Depois disso, se tornou uma banda comum.
Ao ver/ouvir esse setlist deu até preguiça de ir ao show deles aqui no Brasil

Great, thanks!! Setlist looks very underwhelming though by the band, and I'm not even a "old Sonata only" fan. Nothing from Winterheart's Guild, Reckoning Night, Unia and Days of Grays sucks. Last time I saw them they played so many deep cuts (in an album tour), we had Misplaced, Abandoned, Power of One and In Black and White. Probably won't skip them if they come to my city because I'm a huge Sonata fan but I'm not that hyped. And I liked the new album a lot btw, better than Ninth Hour
. Even the song they're playing from PC is just a meh for me, wish they would do one like Blood or WDYDITWD.
The setlists of the last couple tours were full of old songs, more than half of the setlist was from before Unia. I think it's no big deal

sonata arctica morreu pra mim desde quando eles deixaram de tocar powermetal....essas musicas lenga lenga ai meio pop rola nao viu! sou da epoca do silence...ecliptica... Reckoning Night... do dvd ao vivo for the sake of revenge...enfin...sou power metal raiz. sempre sonhei ver esses caras ao vivo mais tocando esse popzinho ai quero passar longe!

I love SA, I have being loving them for a LOOOOONG time, but this setlist is not the best. I feel sad of knowing that I probably will never hear my favorites songs live :(

New bass player definitely shows more energy then the last one. Henrik has kinda always had that serious look.

It's one of my least favorite albums of theirs, but it does have hands down the best bass playing on any Sonata album up to date. Or can you name any Marko bassline that proves otherwise?

Es un enorme honor que sonara tocará en el famoso O'Malley's Sports Bar & Grill una de las cunas del death metal del Florida , pero …. Le hubieran hecho honor al género extremo , entiendo que promocionaron el nuevo álbum pero también las canciones antiguas que escogieron excepto Black Sheep y Full Moon (esa nunca se la van a quitar ) son muy a medio tiempo , y la canción extrema que fue X Marks the Spot es de las PEORES que tienen no entiendo porque les encanta , ES FEA , espero que ahora que les creció el cabello a tommy y Tony vuelva la famosa agresividad que prometía desde el Pariah's Child y por DEJEN DE PONER UN NARRADOR no es tiendo porque les encanta a las bandas finlandesas tener un narrador , afean la canción HORRIBLE…
