What a cutie pie you are! I so want to move out that way via NYC. Lived here for some 22 years now I'm ready to go somewhere warm. Probably use Craigslist as you suggested to look for a room/studio. Hate the roommate situation, trust issues. Happy that you've adjusted. Best of luck to you!!!
You're hands down the realist!! Lol. I plan on moving to LA in January. The latest being March. But after watching this video I'm inspired & more prepared to do so. I'm from the East as well so having that East Coast mentality goes a long way. Thanks again for the advice ❤️
+Adriana MUA yay!!! I'm not exactly sure as of yet. I've been doing a lot of searching online and seen a couple of areas I'm interested in moving to. It so overwhelming lol.
+Jennifer Obasohan yes it is girl! There's a website with great great tips and stories! www.immovingtola.com that has helped a lot! And I've been on www.roommates.com to know people to be roomates with!
I'm your neighbor! I live off Washington and La Brea! Most of your advice is pretty solid. I would only add that rents have changed in the area since 2015. The 2 bedroom next door to me is 2400. The gated free standing 1 bedroom unit in my triplex is 1800. So, you will no longer be able to get these rents UNLESS you find someone who is renting out a room in their rent-stabilized apartment. People who have been living in LA in rent control have rents that aren't affected by the gentrification. But if you are moving into the city now, you will not be able to pay 1600 dollars for a two bedroom in my neighborhood...signing a brand new lease.
im thinking about moving out to LA from outside of Philly area in a month or so for my design career. moving in with an old roommate so i have a floor to sleep on, but it will be timed. dont have any jobs lined up but im just praying something comes thru
Me and my brother are biking(riding bicycles.) there from Florida.with the same dream of acting and, or modeling. I would say about 1500-2000$ each, cash and card. We aren't gonna sleep in hotels much mostly in woods or other areas. Good tips overall though we're going to Santa Monica and got a restaurant job lined up but hope we can afford something.
It's tough and really competitive even for minimum wage jobs out here. I do all types of acting jobs for work tho. Mainly background jobs, u can do that full time out here
congratulations to the both of you! I'm gonma do my first year of college here in my home state of Alabama. I graduated highschool this year and today I'm actually 18(finally) gonna save and plan to move when im 20 no later than 21 with possibly a scholarship. Hope all goea well for you guys
