He nails this cover in every way. That tone is spot on and he isn't using and old Marshall head or 50s Strat . The playing is ridiculously clean. GG is one of the most under appreciated guitarists out there. He should be world famous . The guy is a beast player! How hasn't a known big band not tried to get him .

Whats is the best way to say this... Ummm (NO) the tone is wrong Humbuckers do NOT sound like Single Coils and Yngwie never relies on tapping, and playing over the keyboard part is considered overplaying the song so yeah sorry... but good try

80's Malmsteen didn't have digital amp simulator lol. If he did, he would've sounded just as clean. Also, Malmsteen uses more gain

Mad respect. You play that better than Yngwie does nowadays, because Yngiwe tends to go off on tangents that aren't as good as the album version while you put in your own interpretation but stay closer to the original. Amazing.
While I agree, the fact still remains that Yngwie wrote this piece and it’s still one of the greatest guitar tracks of all time.

Only reason I am commenting is because I've listened to Satch and Malmsteen for decades, played some of their songs and know the nuances and you really are great at those scale runs. Very fluid. Great job on a very difficult guitar tune. I think you basically got the essence and tone really close. Nice playing and tones!
