There was a time when these concrete buildings didn't exist. The drains you see alongside the roads go back to the time of the French, it's no surprise if P Louis gets flooded every time!

Sky is not dark,Mauritian must learn to read sky,if sky is not darker, their no heavy rain .
After longer time of drought cyclone or rain can bring flooding, After one heavy flooding, new flooding can't come.
Sky can't hold so much of water.
Some time come out of shop and read sky and atmosphere.
Sky is clear, strength of rain is finished. Jay bharat.

Remember all roads are not flooded, you can run to safer roads. Mauritius always get good rain fall. Don't be scared of only dark sky but
Keep eyes on road water also.
Return to work safely. Sky is clear.
Tomorrow I will give some tips to save home or shop from flooding.
      Keep trust, you are safe.

Today I am writing how to protect home, tomorrow I will write how to protect your self if you are stuck in flooding water.
Many places water enter compound or home or shop.
For shop we have Sutter for support.
For compound do the welding of iron sheet, we can use net design.
      We only need support.
For home we have door and windows.
For home use industrial stop to close toilets, besin and kitchen sink. Close the stop water enter inside house from these places.
Make frame of wood and plaster it with cement to the side wall.
Purchase velcro, take one side strip and fix it on wood, with help of smaller nails .
Pass the glue to fix completely for no leakage.
How to use other side of velcro, you purchase tarpaulin and fix it on tarpaulin.
      Tarpaulin will block the water.
When ever flood water will come fix tarpaulin quickly. Velcro make work easier.
You choose either outside or inside but it needs support of wood or iron ,otherwise tarpaulin can tear with pressure of water.
Water will not enter home, use same system for windows.
Most important part is frame making for installation of velcro.
If you can't afford velcro use
water pump inside home to remove water . Don't depend on fire brigade.
Visit Phillipines site how to stop flood water.
      Jay bharat.
