This fragrance always seems to catch my eye. Thanks for doing such an in-depth review of this Sebastian! I love your collaborations with Dalya. I wonder if the honey accord in the base is making her think of warmth and coziness. As for my favorite rose/oud fragrances, it's a tie between Black to Black and Oud Ispahan. I'm in Oregon, USA. If two fragrance connoisseurs are genuinely impressed by certain fragrance, getting a sample is a must for me.
A) Tauerville's Rose Flash is my favorite rose and oud fragrance.
B) I'm impressed how certain fragrance works on different skins. You said it's a cold one , and you don't get warmth, but she disagrees quite a lot.
C) Texas Virginia
My collection is relatively small 26 bottles, but I do own one Tiziana Terenzi fragrance Al Contrario. What a top fragrance. Warm and cozy.

Thank you for shining a light on this fragrance. I picked it up to get a patchouli fix though I had been looking for a rose scent. Maybe it's just my bottle but this rose is a king of roses. Photo realistic. It smells like that one mind blowing prize rose in the garden. Patchouli is really nice too but I can't imagine a rose smelling better or more lush and pure than this. The pepper is masterfully blended. Really glad I bought this. Thank you.
My favorite oud rose combo is santal royal by guerlain, without a doubt. Always happy to try rose fragrances. Country: Texas or Puerto Rico.
Love rose/oud combos. More heavier on the oud though, due to the incense/pachouli aroma it produces. It brings images of being in love with a beautiful gypsy.
My favorite is L'oriental Oud Sahara. A cheapie, but no one would know. Would love to experience this one. Hope to win this pachouli queen scent.

I am a big fan of the simple smoothness of Oud Satin Mood. It’s great that both of you find different things to like with Gold Rose Oudh. Good job getting your 8 year old niece wearing Oud Wood. My daughter is turning 4 soon, so it’s time to get her started with patchouli 🤣 I’m in NJ.
Another amazing niche review with the awesome Dalya. I love that she gives Sebastian an honest opinion without trying to appease, love the playful dynamic and references that sometimes jokingly go into an erogenous realm, and above all I love that you two don’t talk over one another and respect each other’s opinion.

I live in Chicago Illinois and I am a long subscriber. I enjoyed this review because I been on the hunt to find other fragrance CZcams personalities to critique this fragrance. I admire the sheer fact you both admire the quality about gold rose oud. I was hoping for Sebastian to hone in on his favorite note [Leather] because I detect it’s a leathery jammy rose Oud accompanied with Subtle nuances of patchouli and some warm Amber-like notes. The only thing this fragrance missed out on was frankincense [perhaps]... needless to say it’s certainly a 10/10 and good for the spring days, summer cool nights, fall & winter all day. Typically 26yrs old and older! I hope to win a chance to have this

Ooo! Favourite current rose-oud is probably Black to Black by Mancera, but I always find them difficult to wear. Nonetheless, I really appreciate the jammy quality. Love that "big" description by Dalya, and I'm just as big a fan of patchouli as you guys are. For me, more mature is probably the way to go these days. NC
I fell in love with this one when I got my hands on a sample, so I bought a bottle. But with time I started feeling some harshness which I did not experience in the beginning. I really like it and its classy and elegant touch, but I found it harder and harder to find it's place. On occasions I felt like being punched in the face by some tough love grandmother patch.
Both well blended , beautiful patch and rose beast ? Lol
1. Portrait of a Lady 100% .I do love both versions - the vintage one , and the reformulation. Yes there was reformulation , and no - they are not the same.Similar - sure , but not exactly the same.Own both and i can tell.
2. The info your niece is wearing Oud Wood , and she's only 8. As a candle fan i'm surprised about the wooden wicks in Tiziana Terenzi candles.As far as i know wooden wick makes the candle burn faster than regular candles with strings.Unfortunately there's no Portrait of a Lady candles.
No full Tiziana Terenzi bottles in my collection , but i will get a bottle of Laudano Nero when my 10ml decant from Ebay is finished .

I love all sorts of rose fragrances; particularly rose oud ones. I have several favorites that include Velvet Rose Oud by Jo Malone, Fabruary 14 by Society of Scent, and although it's not categorized as an oud, Midnight Poison by Dior. Rose Gold has very similar notes as Midnight Poison so I am really curious to smell it!! Your review was great, as always and as you described Rose Gold, it really seemed to similar to how Midnight Poison wears on me. I'd be thrilled if it smells the same since I'm so upset that Dior discontinued the perfume. I live in Pennsylvania.

my favorite oud rose combo is Oud Satin Mood Extrait de Parfum by Maison Francis Kurkdijan, on this review both of you are the best duo reviewers out there the way you both explain this scent makes me wanna go exactly to sample it, cause you both are fantastic and Dalya is crazy and kind at the same time, please bring always Dalya on your channel Sebastian, San Diego California here.

You make a great combo. Such a fun time listening to both of your opinions on fragrances. This one has some great interactions including calling it "Relaxed glamour", and then the look on Dalya's face when she talked about a fragrance that makes her want to hug you... Lol hilarious.

What a fantastic opportunity! Rose , Oud and patchouli is such a classic combination, if it’s done the right way. Appreciate the fact Rose Oudh is a strong fragrance. When I buy niche I like my fragrances to perform well. It’s interesting how both of you are into this fragrance, but for a bit different reasons. Just got a bottle of this today. I enjoy it but it is quite a lot of rose. I don't get much oud, however I was surprised how intense the rose was. To me, it reminds me somewhat of TF's Rose Prick.
I also recently got Dior Homme Intense (thanks again, Sebastian lol) and found it lacking (though I never smelt it before), perhaps the pear note was bothersome to me. I layered it with Rose Gold Oudh and now I smell like a makeup bag, but I sorta really like it.
Anyway, great vids and advice!

Great review as always! Wearing a Rose Oud right now that blindsided me the other day at the outlet mall. Banana Republic 17 Oud Mosaic. For a $25 bottle to have any development is surprising, but for the amount of development present here, I’m floored. Is it the best Rose Oud ever? No! Can I stop smelling myself when I wear it and it gets to that deep, smoky dry down? No! I’m also a big fan of Velvet Rose and Oud by Jo Malone, but the Banana Republic has about the same amount of performance on my skin for a fraction of the price. I’d love so much to try Gold Rose Oudh! I’m in Colorado, USA!

Awesome video. My favorite Rose Oud is Giorgio Armani Prive-Rose d'Arabie. But I have found myself liking several fragrances with patchouli (Coromandel is my current favorite) My favorite part of the video was how you disagreed on whether it was a warm or cool scent yet despite the difference you both like the scent. Jo Malone is a Rose Oud I started rocking. I love the banter, chemistry between you two. Always trying to figure out what the other means by warm, gummy, fresh etc. The translation about the note pickup is dynamic, cute and standoffish but in a good way lol. Florida USA.

I love the combination of Rose and Oud here in NJ! I’m torn between Oud Fleur by Tom Ford and Fidelis by Histories de Parfums currently as my favorites. They are both beautiful yet completely different takes on the RoseOud combo.

My favorite rose and OUD scent is oud satin mood by MFK. I also like the Satin midnight by DUA. My least favorite rose OUD is Akaster by PDM...its too skanky for my liking. Others in this genre I have are DG Mysterious Night and CH Insignia Men.

I love Dionisio and after your video a while back I went and got Ursa (love) I don’t know how I haven’t tried this one yet. In one of your last rankings you mentioned a few R&O combos I’m liking right now Roja, Montale and Dior. I Love you two together and your polar opposite vibes on the fragrances and the different notes you pick up on each other it really helps me narrow in on a scent I haven’t tried and need too! I have huffed my own arm in public many times. And, rose is my favorite note. I also love this house. I have to sniff this one. My current fave rose-oud is Lancome Oud Bouquet. I'm in Ohio. I like that you guys agree to disagree and both are opinionated. No shrinking violets here, though I do love violet fragrances, too.
I love rose and oud! I don’t think I smelled this one. I’ve been staying away from perfume stores such as Barney’s fragrances section. Dark Purple, Montale is the rose oud scent I’ve been wearing most. I needed a break from Velvet Rose Oud, Jo Malone. I needed more depth, but as it gets warmer, I might find it more appealing. Oh, I’m in California. 😊

I just got a decant of MFK Oud Satin Mood. That's my first fragrance with the word Oud in the title and I don't think I've ever even smelled a rose fragrance yet. Arizona USA
