Lots of people on here are talking rubbish, dancing to d&b and rave music in general is about doing your own thing, not about worrying what other people think of it. Standing with your feet rooted to the floor is for rock music, and for chavs dancing to house.

You know, I was at an event recently and it was coming to the end of a dubstep set with a moshpit. Going into D&B, everyone's shoving and i'm stood on the edge of it thinking "man, this isn't the way" and just as a gap comes up I jump into the circle on my own and drumstep all crappy... Instantly, the mood changes as people wonder what the fuck is going on, wonder who I am and wonder if I can do it, why can't they? So as I left the circle, they all joined in. The rest was history. True story. :)

I've danced like this since I was a teenager, and that (believe me) is not boasting. This dance has been my drunken curse since as long as I learned to move my feet, and sadly, like a plague, it seems to be spreading. Save yourselves before it's too late, you feel great, but sadly look like pinnochio on acid, it's not a winning look lads.
