Making a South African Lamb Potjie

  • Our first attempt at a delicious lamb potjie over the coals.
    INGREDIENTS
    • 1 Leg of lamb (on the bone)
    • 3 cloves of chopped garlic
    • 2 chopped red onions
    • 2 sticks of chopped celery
    • 1 kg of chopped tomatoes
    • 5 peeled & cut potatoes
    • 5 peeled & cut carrots
    • Punnet of white button mushrooms
    • Large brown mushrooms
    • 1 Large chopped capsicum
    • Dried apricots
    • Olive oil or butter
    • Ina Paarman’s Braai & Grill spices
    • Salt & pepper to taste
    • Red wine
