It helps to use a little oil while detangling the hair and use a wider tooth comb before combing w/the rat tail comb. Hi! Shampoo is for the scalp - conditioner is for the hair. Moisture comes from the sebum that comes out of the scalp naturally. Oiling the scalp prevents the sebum from coming out. We have been lied to.
