If you ever run out of ideas, some day I'd love to see a tutorial on how you plan your shadows. They add so much to the finished (or in-progress!) pictures

Wat ook handig is als je niet veel potloden hebt of kan bekostigen .Dat kan je een oud of goedkoop schetsboek nemen dan zet je daarin bijvoorbeeld de naam en /of nummer ,en ook de volgorde waarin je ze wilt mengen van een paar potloden in,zo krijg je niet alleen je eigen kleuren maar ontdekt ook kleuren .Want vaak heb je niet veel tinten nodig .Ik ben er ook achter gekomen dat kleurpotlood prima is te blenden met een Blender van stiften zoals van de Koi stift en de ABT Tomnow duo .Met een kneedgum krijg je ook mooie effecten bijvoorbeeld rimpels in water ,met kneedgum kun je namelijk hele fijne lijntjes maken die je met gewoon gum niet krijgt ,het is ook handig of mooi om de tinten er zachter mee te krijgen zonder de kleur te veel aan te tasten .

The page you call 1000 Nights, I call the Midsummer's Eve Garden. I am slightly intimidated by the background so I may save that one until I'm better at them. I like how you use some of the drawings as test pages. I have the British version and the pages are not bright white. I'm not used to that, but I think it will work in my favor once I start adding color. I haven't colored in many of Johanna's books, but I'm changing that beginning this September.

Je kan proberen om de pagina's te fixeren (fixatief voor houtskool van Talens ) .Die heb je al in kleine flesjes, om te voorkomen dat de ene pagina op de andere vlekt ,dan heb je dat probleem niet meer .Ik gebruikt doorgaans voor dauw druppels een tipje Star Rust van Sacura .

They are called Bruynzeel Design Coloured Pencils.
